An affordable alternative to the Hyatt next door. But like the Hyatt, it's attached to the Canal City Mall, so it's got many food and shopping options in addition to the restaurant. Rooms are small, but affordable and the location is a very short taxi ride to Hakata Station. On a nice day, you can also walk to the station. There's also a bus stop in front of the hotel.

Overall, it was a good accommodation experience. Considering the age of the facility, it was in very good condition. Also, I think the direct connection to the Canal City Hakata and the accessibility to the Kushida Shrine Station are also advantages of this accommodation. One disappointment was that the smell of tobacco from the smoking room in the hotel lobby spread throughout the lobby, which was quite disappointing.

perfect location. it is connected to the mall / shopping center. Many shops and restaurants in the area. The staff were kind and helpful. The facility and room was clean. I would recommend this to a friend and stay at this hotel if i visit Fukuoka again.

I was not happy with the property from the start. Not easy to locate. Parking was terrible. Staff was overwhelmed and did not fully explain payment t. The whole hotel stunk of cigarette smoke BecUse it is a smoking hotel. It was gross.

Small rooms, unable to set the aircon to your own temperature (locked by staff..) the windows wouldn’t stay open at all to try cool the room down and the lobby smoke room isn’t sufficiently ventilated which makes the entire lobby smell like cigarette smoke

I inadvertently booked a smoking (which is odd as I’m allergic to cigarette smoke) but when I checked in they were fully booked and couldn’t get me a non-smoking room. Got to my room and it smelled like an ashtray reeking of smoke. Called the front desk as instructed to inform that the smell was very bad. A gal came up and was a bit rude asking where the smoke was. I explained to her the situation and she called the front desk and then took me down the hall to another room. Mind you the entire hall smells of smoke. It was a little better but I had to go and buy some room spray to help the situation. There was also old socks under the desk. So they didn’t fully clean the room. I also woke up the second morning with bug bites. Informed front desk of everything and they apologized and offered another round of clean up. I explained that I was already checking out. On the plus side their free breakfast buffet was really good. Great selection of food options. Don’t think I would stay here again. It is very convenient as it is connected to Canal City Mall.

the main reason why i stayed here is because canal city. if you are not going to be spending a lot of time at canal city, there are other cheaper options around hakata station which is more convenient to get to the airport. the hotel room is decent albeit small in size, as with most metropolitan hotel.
