Comfort Hotel Sendai West

The toilet was somewhat small, and there was a step at the entrance that caused me to trip a few times. The breakfast was nutritious and offered a variety of options, though the selection remained largely the same with only minor daily changes. Overall, the service and hospitality were excellent.

Old building but they kept it clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location from and to Sendai Station. It has laundry facility at cost, simple breakfast is included.

Just few minutes walk to JR station. Room is typical Tokyo small room but clean and sleek.

Property is a bit old

This hotel is very close to the JR Sendai Station and the main shopping arcade in Sendai. The price is very reasonable, especially given that breakfast is included. There are also coin-operated washing machines and dryers (four each) and free storage lockers which you can use even after check-out.

酒店近仙台火車站及地鐵站，交通方便，酒店對面有租車公司，方便租車自駕遊人士。另外周邊有很多商場及餐廳，揾食方便。但房間洗手間燈光較暗，若能改善，則更為理想。

The front desk staffs were very nice but the cleaning staffs were unfriendly & do a minimum job. The air conditioning unit was very dusty & some of the corner/hidden-area furniture surface has not been wiped for a while. The property needs to be updated & train the cleaning staff. The breakfast service & 24 hour coffee service was great. The location is close to the Sendai station but nice & quiet. Although it’s a business hotel, it’s small even for a Japanese business hotel standard. Don’t expect the Comfort inn size from US. Also, the check out Time is 10 AM but if you booked through other site, it’s 11 AM. I don’t know it’s Expedia who’s cutting the cost by agreeing to this or it’s the hotel who’s giving only this 10 AM check out to Expedia but that didn’t settle very well with me. The hotel charged 1,000 Yen to extend the check out for 1 hour upon my request.

The air-condition is a bit hot in winter. The space is enough for 2 alduets and 2 children. The hotel is not modern.

The bathroom was extremely small and toilet makes extremely loud noise when sit down on the cover. The bed was small for two. The staff were nice and courteous.

On the whole, I had a cheap stay. However, I feel cost performance of this hotel is good because all the necessary amenities and room equipment were provided.

Convenient for Sendai station. Typical small Japanese room and very small bathroom but good price. Breakfast hospitality included with a good variety.

Convenient location to the station, but there is no escalator or elevator to the walk bridge to the station, so you have to climb the stairs. it would be hard with a big and heavy suitcase. You would want to go to Aoba- dori, one block away, where you can use an escalator to the station. bathroom space is very small. But it is good price, so I cannot complain.
