Our stay at Fuji Lake Hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji right from the property - waking up to that view alone made the trip unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always attentive, friendly, and eager to help. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with traditional Japanese touches. One of the highlights was the onsen experience—relaxing in the hot springs while taking in the scenery was pure magic. The included breakfast and dinners were exceptional, with an incredible variety of high-quality dishes. The fresh sushi and sashimi were outstanding, and the tempura was perfectly prepared- crispy, light, and delicious. If you’re visiting the Fuji area, this hotel is a must. It’s the perfect combination of relaxation, service, incredible food, and stunning natural beauty. We would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel has one of the best locations on the lake with such excellent viewing platforms of Mount Fuji through their windows on one side and the beautiful lake on the other side. The absolute great bonus was that we had dinner included in our stay, and the hotel Smorgasboard and have to say it was second to none , particularly the fresh Japanese style sashimi etc with their salmon, tuna, fresh fish, etc.. In finishing , would give this hotel stay 12 out of 10.

The room was phenomenal, clean, and spacious. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The views of Mt Fuji and lake Kawaguchiko were immaculate. There isn’t too much in the way of food later at night in the area so I’d stock up on some snacks and grab a bite to eat soon after check in time. Otherwise this is an amazing stay in an amazing location!

This hotel was a huge disappointment. While in a great location on the lake and walkable to the station, the property is in very poor condition - musty, rundown. Our room had old furniture and the carpet was stained. We ended up leaving a night early - it was that poor.

Clean and spacious room, great view of the lake in the room and the observation centre on the top level with a clear and great view of Mount Fuji are all marvellous. The hotel’s lobby was well designed as well with nice music and compliments to coffee and tea. Staff were friendly and professional. Great dinner and breakfast.
