Upon arrival, I was amazing surprised by the warm welcome of Mao, the receptionist on duty even around 23:30. Checkin was easy with her help, furthermore she impressed me that she is a superwoman. She carried my 23 Kg bag up to the next floor for me without a sweat. I wanted to say thank to her again in the next few days of my stay, but was told she would not be on duty again until next week.

The place was great, nice staff, clean and a great location. One staff member gave us so many recommendations she was fantastic and made our trip so much better. There is no way I would have found the submarine bar with guidance. I don’t know her name but she used to live in Eastbourne. Thank you for all your help!

I left. It was sooooo loud. I can hear the people at the desk. There was no regulation on the lights in the room or sounds. The bed was so thin. It was very hot and uncomfortable inside. I went to a hotel the night I checked in.

Very, very comfortable environment. Looks nice, feels very homely. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Was easy to socialize, make friends! Spacious dormitory is very appreciated, feels great. Shower is great. Only complaint really is it’s a pretty far walk to the nearest station, and the bed felt VERY stiff (could feel wood at my hip).

I loved this hostel! Big, spacious purpose built hostel with super friendly and welcoming staff, free unlimited basic breakfast and free tea & coffee. I had the bottom bunk and it was perfect; large locker, plenty of shelf space, hooks for your clothes & towel, the mattresses are surprisingly comfortable considering what they are. Super clean! The staff are always cleaning which I really appreciated considering some of the ratchet places I've come across. We played beer pong and made food together for Halloween which was so much fun! 15 minute walk to Dotonburi which has all the bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Very very nice staff. Top of the line hostel you can find in Japan. Clean and spacious room. Had a lot of fun conversation at the 1st floor lobby shared space. They have staff at the lobby 24 hours so late checkin is not a concern. The only con I can say is that the location is about 10 minutes walk from Tanikochi 9-Chōme subway station which is a bit far. The good side is that the hostel is also about the same walking time to 2 other subway stations so you can go to the station of you line directly instead of having 1 extra transfer. Enjoyed the stay. Will come again when I visit Osaka again.

The hostel is very modern, convenient and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The area around the hostel is nice and quiet, but it's within a 15-minute walk from the most interesting areas in Osaka, Dotonbori street. There's also a free breakfast (toast with jam) and free tea. One thing to keep in mind is the bed: it is a thin futon mattress on top of a hard wooden bed, so it can get uncomfortable if you are used to sleeping on a soft bed. Another thing is there's an elementary school right outside of the window and kids can get loud early in the morning. Still, it was a pleasant stay and great value for the money!
