Hotel Forza Hakataeki Chikushi - GuchiⅠ

It was enough for one night - for a couple travelling together you'd want something larger for multiple nights - they probably offer larger rooms - but this was for ours.

Perfect place to unwind after a long journey. Bed was extremely comfortable. AC worked very well. Healing room is the best. Message chair hit the right spots. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. No problems with communication. I always look forward to my next visit.

The property was well maintained and nice to look at

Overall enjoyed our stay for a few reasons. Very good location - just next to main Hakata Station and close to a lot of shopping. Reasonably quiet rooms. Size of rooms is what you’ll expect from Japanese hotels in cities. Only issue I had was that the aircon and WiFi broke down on the first night. Had to sleep with the window open (thankful that weather was cool) No service recovery by hotel.

Excellent location. We were given an upgraded room which was very large and comfortable however the hotel is on the older side. Breakfast was excellent as well as the coffee machine in the very comfortable sitting area

Nosy during rain at the window. Bed and pillow are very uncomfortable. However, the location is convienience.

Very convenient as it is next to Hakata station. Lots of dining and shopping options. Extra plus for the LG styler clothes steamer/sanitizer inside the room. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Very near to hakata station

Spacious rooms (considering the price point and location). Clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Bath/Shower and standard toilet all very clean. Very helpful and welcoming staff making check-in a breeze. Was able to drop off luggage early as we ventured out to Hakata for more food and shopping. The hotel was just around the corner from Hakata Station taxi stand so made it very convenient for us as we left at 6am to start heading over to the airport. Smooth self-check out process at the machines (it takes your room keys back and makes sure no outstanding charges). There was a vending machine, microwave, and coffee machine in the lobby (we also had a coffee machine in our room, but not all the rooms had one). Will definitely consider this hotel for future stays again!

Nice place in all aspects

Extremely convenient location to public transport and is walkable to many and diverse types of dining options. Room is not big but comfortable, with a small bathtub. Eco-friendly with various cleaning options available for the room. Good amenities. Only issue was the pillow choices - could not find one that was comfortable, so overall sleep quality was not fantastic. My husband didn't have an issue though, so probably a subjective experience in this regard.

Hotel Forza Chikushi-Guchi1 has been our got to place in Fukuoka because of its proximity to Hakata Station. Rooms are slightly bigger than the average Japan hotel. Coffee is free flowing and the buffet breakfast is good. This year however we noticed that the rooms are dusty and not thoroughly cleaned. Pillows were very limited per room and we had to ask for more pillow which they ran out off. Biggest shock was that we couldn’t leave our bags when we checked out and the front desk people were directing us to use the paid lockers at Hakata Station. One guest even hurled bad words at the front desk lady who couldn’t explain why they couldn’t keep the bags. I was able to convince our front desk person to reluctantly stow our luggage but she also was clear why they were not allowing luggae to be stored. Front desk said we can come back by 1pm but we insisted on 4pm given our flight was still in the evening. We hit shocked when we came back and saw a sign saying the hotel was closed and none of the doors were open. We were worried that we would couldn’t get our stuff bud circled back door where we found a doorbell. Thankfully someone answered and gave us back our luggage. The guy said the hotel was closing down for maintenance. Forza should have put out that notification or at least helped guests with their luggage storage using one of their location. A bit of a deviation from our usual experience at Forza Hakataeki Chikushi-Guchi1 but all’s well that end well!

Hotel Forza Hakataeki Chikushi - Guchi1 is our go to hotel in Fukuoka. It conveniently located next to Hakata Station where you’ll find everything. Buffet breakfast is good and there is unlimited coffee. Rooms are small but not tiny. I was however surprised when we were checking out and the front desk reception told me we could leave our bags which was unusual. Days before a lot of people had left their bags and we were expecting to do the same. I had to insist with the front desk reception saying we are a frequent customer of the hotel and who the reluctantly took our bags for safekeeping, initially insisting we come back for it after 2hours when our flight is still in the evening. The hotel eventually took our bags. One guest hurled bad words at the front desk lady who was insisting that their bags be kept at the train station pay locker. Unusual for a hotel. No reason for initially refusing to keep our bags. Maybe they can revert with a response on why they were refusing to keep the bags.

When I opened the curtains of the only window in the room, all I can see is a dark wall of the closely erected adjacent building. The view is totally blocked. Essentially it is the same as if the room has no window

This hotel is very close to Hakata Station. It is located at Chikushiguchi entrance. I highly recommend this if you want stay near by Hakata station.

The staff and the amenities ( face steamer , massage cushion, hair dryer, umbrella ) is above and beyond. The location is the best of all. Near the jr hakata station. The staff are very accomodating. What i dont like is the towels are plced in a box on the bathroom floor besides the trash can which i dont find hygienic.
