The location is strategically located near Kyoto Station. Coco Ichibanya is across the street. Check-in was handled smoothly by staff who spoke Indonesian. There's a washing machine and dryer available, too. If you're busy, there's a coin laundry nearby. Overall, a great experience.

The best hotel during my holiday in Japan and if I return to Kyoto, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel staff were very helpful and added value for Indonesians; there were staff who were Indonesian, so it made us feel comfortable settling in. The hotel location is strategic, close to Kyoto station, bus stop for the Gion line, mini market, and there is a delicious Coco Ichibanya curry restaurant right next to the hotel. The hotel rooms are also suitable and comfortable, and you can leave your suitcase first at the hotel reception if it's not time to check-in or after check-out. Overall, best hotel and I recommend this hotel.

Close to the station. Staff at the front desk were very polite and friendly. The room was small, but very clean. The room got cleaned every day and it was so nice to come back to the clean room.

Everything was excellent, even the location. Only issue is that you cannot keep the room cooled due to the power turns off when you remove your room key any time you leave the room, but its not an oawful down fall. It helps with energy efficiency, which is understandable.

Transferring our luggage from this hotel to the next one was not a smooth process. We were told that we had to use an online procedure, but the staff member at the desk was unable to translate what everything meant on the form for us. What should have been a simple 5 - 10 minute process ending up taking around 20 minutes and a lot of Google translate. That was frustrating.

手洗い洗面の流れが悪く、洗うたびに毎回水が溜まっていました
清掃も、マグカップは一度も交換なのか洗浄なのか
使ったままで放置され続けました。
エアコンも使用するとニオイが出ました。
今後、1泊なら良いのですが 長期では利用しないと思います。

This was not my favorite hotel from my Japan trip. The staff was not welcoming or hospitable. The hotel itself is in a great location, with another Hotel M (nicer one) around the block. I thought I had booked that one but I made a mistake. The room was also not the cleanest and had a nasty smell. It smelled like cigarettes and a$$. It was not worth the stay for the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, close to major transport (5 minute walk to Kyoto station and 3 minute walk to Kujo station), great eateries close by, lots of convenience stores as well, the staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again, it made our visit to Kyoto even more memorable. We loved Kyoto, for first time travellers to Japan.
