JR Inn Sapporo South

Maintained very well and everything is neat. The room I selected is so stylish and comfortable. The staff is very hospitable and accommodating and very friendly! I am very impressed. I highly recommend JR Inn! 5/5 stars

Well maintained, friendly and professional staff, considerate (umbrella available for loan for raining days). The hotel is a few blocks to the train station, majore shopping ceters, the Odori park.

Amazing place to stay.

Solid hotel in an excellent location. Staff helpful & friendly

Great location. Walkable to go restaurant and shopping. I liked this hotel as a business trip. Only problem was the TV was setting right side of the bed. Little bit difficult to watch.

Hotel rooms were pretty normal. I like the set up of the bathroom "nook" with separate doors for the toilet and shower.Only thing I found weird was how firm the pillows were. There's an interesting section on the main floor where you can customize your pillows, but for some reason by the time I would go to try to get a softer pillow, all the options were taken. The amenities are super nice though, there's a lounge area with a small library of books, tables with seating or soft casual seating available. Low lights and the smell of the spa on that level give it a relaxing vibe. There's coin laundry and vending machine on that floor as well. Spa area itself is nice and relaxing. To foreigners, tattoos are not permitted in the spa area. The hotel has its own area for parking. There is another JR Inn Sapporo a few blocks away, do not get them confused. This one is Sapporo SOUTH!! The restaurant attached was super yummy and convenient. Order your food on the ticket machines in the evening hours. I recommend the gyudon! In the morning you can buy a breakfast coupon at the front desk, the restaurant has around 4 sets you can choose from, one western style breakfast and three traditional breakfast. The portion sizes are perfect no matter what set you choose. Unlimited hot and iced coffee, water, juice provided. Food itself was alright but cannot complain for 1000¥ and convenience. Great location, few minutes away from the Clock tower and the TV tower, as well as the shopping mall.

Basically the hotel is good. Only just need to walk 10 mins from Sapporo Stn.

Great place

Compared to other breakfasts in Hokkaido this one was pretty avarage. In contrast JR Inn at Asahikawa was excellent. However in all other respects very good.

About 5 min from nearest station exit. This hotel is great for the price. Great breakfast option from restaurant Yayoiken - which is right next to the hotel - and staffs were nice.

Only downside is the spa was crowded

Conveniently close from Sapporo Station, and walking distance to nearby attractions. Nice amenities in the hotel and friendly staff.

The property was a little further from the station than I thought. Initially when we checked into the hotel, there were hair on the desk as well as in the shower. The room was cozy enough for 2 people. The shower in the roomis not good. You have to open the shower every couple minutes to let the steam out or you’ll have a hard time breathing. It wasn’t a problem for me because I used the public hot bath on the basement floor but it was challenging for my son who didn’t want to use the public bath. The laundry room has 3 washer/dryer with automatic detergent so you don’t have to bring your own. At night, the washer/dryer is busy so I used it early morning. Overall, it’s was a 3 star experience but with the price, it’s satisfactory.

Great onsen

Près de la gare. Services excellents. Billet à acheter à la réception pour le déjeuner - choix de 4 menus. Peu cher. Dans la ville les indications au coin des rues sont à apprivoiser - nom de rue - sud,est,nord,ouest sur le même poteau.. Une grande ville. Les japonais aident très amicalement. Bus circulaire Factory Line 88, un coin de rue de la gare, devant le magasin Tokyu vous amène au Musée de la bière très populaire..Visite historique très intéressante 'Sapporo Clock Tower'..

Room is slightly small (I think this is normal in Japan) pillow is too flat for us (lucky they do have pillow menu) the bed is slightly too soft. Staff are friendly and polite.

The hotel is not actively cleared of rubbish, and there is no central bin for guests to dispose of their waste. Additionally, there is no slipper rack in the hotel bathroom, forcing guests to place their slippers inside the locker, which raises hygiene concerns.

A short walking distance from underground street entrances, to or from JR station is convenient. Hotel room is compact but just enough space for two people with two suitcases
