We chose this hotel because of its location as it’s very close to the Garden and castle. It also had a nice patio and music bar, with DJ playing great music. The staff were fantastic with Rachel providing us with a wealth of very good information about what to visit. When we had a problem with our train tickets the staff were very helpful in finding out the best way to fix the problem. We had a great stay and really appreciated the staff at the hotel.

Kaname Inn is a really special place and I highly recommend it for all looking to stay in the perfect location in our favorite city in Japan, Kanazawa, in a fabulous boutique hotel with amazing customer service. Our room was gorgeous overlooking the city. It is right next to the museums and gardens and all the restaurants and izakayas you want to try out. The staff were incredibly helpful, going well above and beyond to help me call hotels in our next *four* (!!) destinations to confirm details. And on top of all that it has one of the coolest bars in the entire city in their lobby, with fabulous cocktails, a dj playing great records, and an incredible soundsystem. I can't recommend it enough!

Lovely large room and gorgeous bar downstairs. We only stayed one night, but very much enjoyed the comfort of Kaname Inn Tatemachi and felt very welcome. I particularly liked the mushroom soup breakfast option :)

New hotel in the heart of Kanazawa. A pretty walkable town and this hotel is close to a lot of great attractions Kanazawa has to offer. The rooms are a good size and the staff is very nice and helpful. We had a great stay at Kaname Inn.

This is a great little hotel. Very sleek and modern, and a great location in the heart of Kanazawa. We had a deluxe room for our family of four, and it was lovely and spacious. The deluxe rooms are suites, featuring a separate living room (with comfortable full-sized sofa bed) and a bedroom with two full-sized beds. The bathroom was huge and included a washing machine. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly. Note that early check in is not available, though we were able to check our bags until our room was ready.

The hotel is new and it is very very nice. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location was great. Very close to public transportation and historic district. We loved our stay at the Kaname Inn T and hope to be able to stay there again if we get the chance to come back. Arigato!

Customer service was superb. The beds are a little hard and the heated toilet seat was not adjustable which was a bother. But they supplied indoor slippers & fresh robes/towels daily. The view from our corner room was great. The hotel was centrally located and not far from convenience & shopping stores, bus lines, and restaurants.

The hotel though is small but it is very clean and convenient, only a minute walk to the misj street which has access to the buses. It is located in a small street but there are a row of boutiques and cafes so it is really pleasant to walk around.
The room though is not big but it is a good size for Japan standard. The toilet is also has a good size. However, the rooms that we got have no TV. If you are the type that must watch TV e eryday, make sure that you let the hotel know.
As the hotel is very now, probably just a few months old, it is very clean. However, we do encounter air conditioning problem which has disturbed us the whole night. Other than that, I think it is a good hotel with friendly and helpful stuff. Most of them speak good English.

The hotel is right in the middle of the walking street and so close to the night clubs and restaurants. The car can drive into the walking street after 1930, so you can't stop the car in front of the lobby before that. There are lots of parking lots nearby, hotel can provide a better price for some of them, better ask. The hotel is in small scale, but all is enough with good service. The staff are helpful.

Gute Lage des Hotels, um vieles in Kanazawa zu Fuss zu besichtigen. Grosse Auswahl an Shopping-Möglichkeiten.
Das Hotel verfügt über gut ausgestattete Zimmer, die angemessen gross sind. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist für mich das Angebot Eco Plus. Ein einmaliger 300 Yen Discount in der Bar ist für mich ein Zeichen, dass die Nachhaltigkeit vom Gast bezahlt wird und nicht wirklich ein Anliegen des Hotels ist.
