Good hotel for a central location. It is a bit dated and needs an upgrade. There was slight molding in the bathroom. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was not that great for 3,000 yen. Beds were a bit stiff, but ok.

Very well maintained and wonderful amenities. Staff were polite, but not very helpful in a time of crisis. I lost my passport and the reception staff seemed completely uninvolved, didn't offer to help in any way (for example, to call the police station and report the loss, since I didn't speak Japanese). But the hotel itself was lovely.

I’ve stayed in this hotel a number of times for work meetings in the area. The hotel is very reasonably priced, rooms are clean and functional - not very pretty! Appears to have a “chapel” so popular with wedding ceremonies. Imperial palace and gardens walking distance nearby. Lots of inexpensive (student) eateries in the area.
