Staff was very friendly. We've arrived early and stored our luggage at the hotel. When we returned for check in, our luggage was already in our room.

2-night stay at Futabaya
Pros: super-friendly staff, fantastic location (2 min from the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal and Yu-batake), super-comfortable mattress & pillows, very clean & quiet room, big-screen TV
Cons: tiny bathroom & small room
I'd definitely stay there again.
I'd try other locations/hotels next time as well.

Very Clean! Staffs are very accommodating and friendly!
For foreigners i would suggest this hotel.
Walking distance from onsens and 5 mins drive to kusatsu skii resort!
They have a Free parking

I love it, great service, there is a warmer in her bed. So even though it is winter we can sleep soundly without being cold. The location is very close to tourist attractions and many shops and food stalls.
