This lodge was at a decent location with a nice view of Fuji san and not too far from Red Line bus stop #17. It would be more convenient if the free shuttle to/from Kawaguchiko station were available before 3 pm, but the luggage service for our departure was very nice. Rather than go back to Orange Cabin Villa to retrieve our luggage, the hotel staff transferred our luggage to their sister property, Orange Cabin Guest House, which is very close to Kawaguchiko station. So we were able to enjoy our day without having to backtrack just to retrieve our luggage. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. My only disappointment was the lack of soundproofing. Sound traveled very easily from one room to the next, and especially from the common area to my room upstairs. It wasn’t too inconvenient, I simply used my earphones to block out the noise.

Very helpful to have the shuttle run. The last time the Orange Cabin pick up from Kawaguchiko station is 9pm. If you miss this you will get a taxi which was a whopping 2700 yen for under 10 minute drive. But apart from that Orange Cabin are extremely helpful and kind and did ‘shuttles’ - effectively free lifts - into Kawaguchiko at my requests. Very clean and shared living area has cracking view of Mt Fiji. Based on my research this was the cheapest single room I could find that has a view of Mount Fiji on the north side of Lake Kawaguchiko and I was thoroughly impressed and happy
