It’s an excellent hotel just minutes walk from Omiya station. The building is clean and has a restaurant and very affordable breakfast buffet. The staff are all very well-trained and polite. They were happy to help me extend my stay on last minute notice and remain in the same room. (Twice). I recommend Marroad Inn.

Overall, it was very good. I liked the breakfast buffet and that helped me save money during my trip. There was one thing though that could have been better - it was not possible to switch my hotel room tv over to a different HDMI source. Because of that, it was not possible to connect my firestick to it. I think that's something for them to address for future travelers that might want to hook up a firestick, switch, or steam deck. But if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay, this is a pretty good choice.

I stayed here for a few days using it as a base to get to Tokyo without staying in Tokyo itself. The area seemed really vibrant and there is a music venue close to the hotel, although I didn’t stay to see any performances. The staff were helpful with checkin/checkout but that was my only interaction with them. The room was a good size for my needs too.

Close to Omiya Station. Department stores and Bic Camera (a big store selling consumers electronics, including travellers' sim cards) are within 5 minutes walk. The property looks a little bit old, but comfortable enough. I stayed at a smoking room (since all non-smoking rooms were already occupied), but I did not feel smell.

Its a walking distance from the omiya train/bus station. Hotel is surrounded with loads of restaurant so you wont run out of options to where to eat. Lovely staff and clean rooms.

Positives:
Great location in Omiya, 1 minute walk from a 7/11 and 3 minute walk from a major train station and shopping precinct.
Everything was clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
No wifi, have to ask for a lan cable at the counter.
Room is a bit cramped, but I'm fairly tall so that is just a personal problem.

建物は古いが清潔が保たれており、清掃が行き届いていました。浴室の換気扇が無いのか？湿度が高かった。職員は感じが良くフロントの対応もスムーズでした。鍵は古いタイプなので外出の際は預ける必要があります。駅からすぐの立地でさいたまスーパーアリーナからも徒歩20分弱なのでまたイベントがある際は利用したいと思います。

Overall, it was very good. I liked the breakfast buffet and that helped me save money during my trip. There was one thing though that could have been better - it was not possible to switch my hotel room tv over to a different HDMI source. Because of that, it was not possible to connect my firestick to it. I think that's something for them to address for future travelers that might want to hook up a firestick, switch, or steam deck.
