This was last minute booking. We got to Kyoto around 10pm and we were greeted by a friendly staff. We loved the room decor and size of the room. The four of us could have fit in one room but booking for 4 almost cost the same as booking for 2 rooms.

Loved the hotel. Modern, but had a Japanese flare. Close to train station and restaurants. Taxis at train station take you anywhere. Yes, splurge for the breakfast buffet. It was really good.

The hotel is minutes from Kyoto Station. The staff are warm and welcoming. The room was perfect size for my daughters and I,two carry-on luggage and 3 travel backpacks. Enjoyed the breakfast which had a nice variety. I highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying when I return with my wife in a year.

It is perfect place if you just zoom in/out Kyoto and sleep there at night after the long day working/sight seeing.
