Overall, excellent hotel to stay; quiet, convenient, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only small problem; hair dryer not working

Conveniently located close to train stations and shopping. Clean room was tight to maneuver, so would not recommend to anyone with accessibility needs. Public bath facilities are a welcome feature with laundry facility convenient next door. Staff are polite and professional.

Room so small for the price, also the breakfast menu is the same everyday. But the area is very good, convenient coz near to train station and lots of restaurants nearby.

We stayed at Mitsui garden in Ginza last year and enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a hotel from the same chain for our trip to Japan this year. Staff are courteous, professional and speak good English. Bed is very comfortable too. Several reservations were made as the hotel was used as our base to explore the neighbouring region. When we arrived early for our second reservation , we deposited our carry on luggage from our overnight visit to kiso valley and reception staff were kind enough to offer to place all our luggage in our room when we returned later for check in. We will definitely return when we next visit Nagoya.

Good location for shopping, dining and transportation. Offers public bath. The standard double room is quite small though.

Great location near the station

Best hotel in my life. Large bus tub ‘ Dai-Yokujo’ is perfect to heel and relax your body. If you want to visit Tokyo, Osaka, Ise, Hida-Takayama, etc within short term, this is the best stay and 5 minutes walk distance to Nagoya station.

Modern hotel in ideally located area, clean and comfortable and with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

We have a high expectation living at Mitsui Garden since it's a famous brand and named as a PREMIER. Maybe language is a barrier which I don't expect this will happen at an international deluxe hotel like Mitsui Garden. Our overall experience during check in was good and staffs were willing to help with the 2 laundry machines that everybody was trying to use. Anyways, I am very happy that there's laundry facilities since we had some babies clothes to wash. When it comes to breakfast which was an option, the services at the reception is unacceptable. If she couldn't explain to her guests in English, please put signages to assist her. She's embarrassing us at the entrance. I think some guests might have experience that at a Fish Market or Car Rentals as language is a barrier and they made you look stupid. We stayed mid March, it was 18 degrees outside and they turned off the air-conditioning in the lobby which made it really stuffy, not very welcoming. If you forget to bring ur facial products they do have the usual cleanser, toner, moisturiser. The shampoo and conditioner provided caused my hair to be super dry, I had to buy hair treatment and leave-in conditioner. The double bed was quite small and squeezy for 2. Everything else was ok. Will stay again but perhaps book a room with a bigger bed as the location is pretty good.

Walking distance from Nagoya station. Hotel website has helpful videos on how to reach hotel above ground or via underground link from station. Can be pretty confusing using underground link for 1st timers to Nagoya station. Station is massive. It was raining on our arrival, so the walk was wet and seem quite far to walk with luggage. Hotel reception is on 18th floor. Room is small but Queen bed is good size for us. Not much space to open up 2 medium luggage. Lots of eateries and convenience shops near hotel. We didn't take hotel breakfast. There was a popular cafe next to hotel, on the right, which offer a good variety of meals. Entrance to underground linkway is outside of hotel entrance. Take the lift to the basement and walk through 2 buildings to reach the station.
