The two of us enjoyed a very pleasant stay and slept comfortably on the Japanese futons. The facility is in good condition and has a wonderful public bath to wash off the stress of the day. Free hot refreshments are available anny time and the breakfast was excellent. Many nice restaurants are a short walk away. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We can’t thank the staff enough for their outstanding care during our stay! My husband sprained his ankle, and they went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and well taken care of. From providing ice packs and extra pillows for support to assisting us with finding local medical care, their kindness and hospitality were truly remarkable. Every interaction with the staffs was met with genuine empathy and a willingness to help. This level of service made a challenging situation much easier to navigate. We highly recommend this hotel for their exceptional hospitality.

We chose ryokan, and there is no attached bathroom for shower. You can either use the public bath or book the private onsen. My son sprained his ankle while visiting the attractions. When we went back to the hotel, the boss gave us ice wrapped in the towel to ice the swollen ankle, arranged with the hospital staff for an appointment with the doctor and called the cab. He even came to our room in the evening to check on us. All the staff were also helpful and friendly. 👍😊 Great breakfast 😋

It was a great little ryokan. Only annoying part was despite the fact it was a modernized Ryokan, they had no privaye showers, just a public bath with no private showers. You can book a private hot spring for 800 yen, it was on sale for 500. Very nice hot spring, but i wish the had private showers

The ryokan is an unusual experience for most travelers. I know what it’s about so I enjoyed it. It’s a traditional Japanese room with access to on-site public and private onsens. While the WiFi was not reliable, the other amenities like laundry, the lounges, and the friendly staff more than made up for it. Be forewarned though. If you are not familiar with what a ryokan usually offers, you need to research it. Otherwise, you may disappointed to find that you are sleeping on a futon and not a traditional mattress. Also, the surrounding area was quiet but the location was slightly suspect.
