This is a great location and the spa is very nice in the hotel, especially after a long day of touristing around. Two things to note though: it’s a Japanese hotel and you have to take your outside shoes off before entering the hotel (everyone must do this); there are lockers, but people should know that. Second, no tattoos in the spa. So if you have a lot of them, you can’t use it. This is standard at a lot of onsens, but is actually enforced here. Finally, they have a great breakfast and also free soba noodles at 9 pm every night. Very nice touch!

Can’t share a review of the spa as I was not allowed in it (this was in the listing) Manual for the remote control for mini split in English would be helpful. It was clear this hotel catered to non-Japanese clientele; would have been great if the AC worked better and there was a way to turn off the motion sensor light in the room.

What can I say about this great Asakusa hotel? The Staff was excellent, answering my questions, and assisting me throughout my stay. They were very understanding, even when my Japanese was not very good. (^_^) The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had the perfect blend of traditional and modern Japanese style. The facilities all worked perfectly. The baths on the basement level were wonderful! Clean, hot and soothing. Perfect for the end of a long day of sightseeing. My sore feet and legs were very grateful! The laundry facilities were also a welcome addition. Pack less, travel light. The Happy Hour Ramen was also a great treat! Definitely add on the breakfast option, too. The close proximity of Senso-Ji Temple, plenty of great shopping, lots of great restaurants and izakayas made evening strolls in the neighborhood a favorite memory of my trip. Don't forget to hop the local train from Asakusa Station to the Tokyo Skytree. Or to walk along the banks of the Sumida river. Many thanks to the kind Staff of Onyado Nono Asakusa Natural Hot Springs! Your hotel was a great home away from home in Tokyo. You made me feel welcome. Otsukaresama-desu!
