Pros: The hotel is clean and quiet, offers a delicious Japanese breakfast, and has friendly staff. Cons: It's a little far from Kyoto Station, the Wi-Fi in the room is nearly non-functional, and the staff could be more accommodating with their policies. For instance, they have complementary drinks served at 2:30; I walked in at 2:26 when it was 94 degrees outside and want to get the ice-cold beverage that's readily available, they insist it will be available in 4 minutes at 2:30 pm. It seems a bit unreasonable given that the drinks were right there!
