Ryuma THE TOWER

The property is conveniently located near Oeno park and Amiyoko shopping streets, a short walk to Akihabara and is close to several metro stations. The unit is a skinny six stories tall building, each floor contains a room. There's a small elevator to access the 3rd floor(master bedroom?) and the 4th floor (communal bath?) only, You must use the stairs to access the fifth (kitchen/Living) and sixth floors (Large dorm and loft). For a large group, this property boasts nine mattresses. These double size Japanese floor mattresses are located in two rooms. On the 3rd floor there are two mattresses, and on the sixth floor and sixth floor loft there are seven more mattresses. There are only two toilets for this many occupants: one the 3rd floor and one on the 5th floor. The bath room on the fourth floor does not have a toilet. It has a bath tub and a shower. The washer and dryer is also located on the fourth floor. The fifth floor has an impressive kitchen, dining, and TV area with the toilet and a mini shower stall. Overall, this property was not very convenient for a large group mainly due to a lack of toilets and baths. Additionally, older people may find sleeping on the floor difficult. The large dorm on the sixth floor does not offer any storage space or privacy. Other concerns are that there is no black out curtains other than paper screens, so the rooms stay lit. With the Sun rising early in Japan, expect a bright room earlier than usual.

Not at pictured. Heater and A.c make a weird noise while turned on. (Will need at least one turned on so go figure) main shower has one hand held low pressurized shower head with mostly cold water running. 7 flights of stairs. Needed major remodeling.

We had a great time at the property. The house located at prime area, with metro and JR within minutes away. Akiko San was very helpful and responsive. The house is great for family with kids, the beds are comfortable and everything is clean and high standard. Thank you for having us, we will be back.

Great property for a large group. Elevator available for initial luggage in and out. Really conveniently located.

The accommodation is appropriate for large group (we were a party of 7) and offers plenty of space. Taito is a nice neighborhood, with many restaurants, bars and good connections to public transportation. It is only a bit outdated.
