The priperty and amenities are absolutly beautiful. They had live music every night while we were staying there and it was just the most lovely atmosphere.
It was also so close to Kyoto station and a local shopping centre which was so convenient! Will definitly be comkng back here again!

Loved the proximity to Kyoto station (5 minute walk). Rooms were much larger than the hotel we stayed in previously and the price was cheaper. Easy to walk to multiple transportation options. Staff were great to visit with and help answer questions. The best part was the restaurant atmosphere - the background music being played live by the solo guitarist was awesome!

Hotel reception is very impressive as well as the breakfast room and other common areas but the room was a little underwhelming and didn’t match the rest of the hotel. Very small room for 2 people with 2 suitcases and the bed was very hard and pillows very thin. Found hairs in the bath so wasn’t confident the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. Kettle needed to be moved to plug in and there was only tea no coffee. No sockets near bed for charging phones. No English Chanel’s on tv. Breakfast was amazing good selection and very tasty. Very good location as only few minutes walk to station. 7/11 just up the road. Staff were welcoming and helpful. This could be an amazing hotel if rooms were bigger and better arranged. We had a room with a big terrace which was nice but would have preferred a smaller terrace and bigger room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay only because of distance from station and the amazing breakfast.

Had a wonderful stay - in fact probably the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Room was extremely spacious, they serviced our room everyday we were there as well. Huge bonus that they have a coffee/tea juice bar running all day, and a free alcoholic drink for every night of of our stay ;) would definitely come back if we’re ever in Kyoto again.

I loved this hotel. Perfect location near the train station. Cozy and modern lobby. Amazing breakfast and great vibe for the evening meal. I loved having an Onsen in the hotel and the balcony was an added bonus!

The public bath was really lovely, perfect after a day walking around the city. Great location close to Kyoto station. Staff are very attentive, nice courtyard area and a very clean hotel. Second time staying here and I recommend it highly.

They serve a delicious breakfast buffet, unlike I’ve ever seen in a hotel. My group was 6 people total (family), but we were not allowed to sit together. They showed us a paper saying that we can only gather in groups of 4. Also, their restaurant only serves dinner, not lunch so we had to buy lunch outside. Many restaurants in the area could not accommodate 6 people so we brought food back to the hotel. We were asked to eat lunch in our room, even though there were empty chairs and tables in the main floor. Our room was tiny so ended up eating on the floor, on the bed and standing up. I would not come back.

This place was a real find. Boutique style, near the station but quite. We would happily stay here again. Rooms were great with balconies, lots of space. Good facilities with guest laundry, gym, traditional Japanese baths etc. Bar and restaurant were appreciated as were welcome drinks and nightly entertainment. The staff were very accomodating. We liked this place very much and would highly recommend it and we will return.

Sakura Terrace has the feel of a relaxing resort. A few upgrades will help, inclusing new linens and towels. The hotel offers washer and dryer but the machines are old and not too efficientt.

Room was OK, not too big. It had a public bath.
Location was on the less attractive side of Kyoto Station.
