I really liked the price for bicycle rental that they offered for their residents. Really close to main train lines, close to shopping districts

Really close to two different subway stations. Also it was very cozy.

Near tourist attractions and enough to stay for a short time. Reasonable price, even slightly cheaper than I thought for the service provided. I really enjoyed the takoyaki party! I can get to know some fellow travelers and shared stories because of the friendly atmosphere. Nice place!

place looks old but cosy. quite some distance away from the main attractions but rather well connected (2 subway stations within walking distance). cleanliness could be improved.

The staff members are exceptionally friendly and helpful - and genuinely so, so it was a pleasure to deal with them at all times. The dorm beds are like capsule rooms which was fantastic as there was room to have some of your stuff in your sleeping space with you - in other hostels you are constantly in and out of your backpack / suitcase as there's nowhere to store things. The free toiletries provided were very good and we were given two towels to use, free of charge for the duration of our stay (six nights). Unfortunately we had reason to complain about some of the other guests in our dorm one night which was obviously not the fault of the hotel. However, the offending guests were as quiet as mice the following night, so I believe our complaint was acted upon by the hotel staff and we really appreciated that. If you're looking for reasonably priced shared accommodation in Osaka, I would say that Senba Hostel is excellent value.

They were very good at accommodating our late arrival (thank you again!) and made it very easy to rent and use their bikes. Perhaps clearer instructions for when you check in late or a wee tour the next day would have been great, especially around the elevator, but otherwise pretty good! Pretty handy to a lot of locations and easy to find

Good experience. Staff was a little abrupt, not quite rude, but not the kind of service you expect in Japan.

Nice and service mind staff, they were willing to inform us everything. The place is very clean and secured. Toilet and bathroom are in good condition with great facility.

The staff were great and really made this place along with some of the other guests. I had a nice sized and comfy bed in the mixed dorm.

I liked staying at Senba hostel. The hostel is very well organized and everything is very clean. The only problem is that they have very big rooms that accomodate a lot of people and although there are rules for quiet times, it can be very noisy. Two sinks are in the room and the door always makes beeping-sounds when it is opened, which leads to many disturbances if people come home late and get up very early. So be prepared, then it is okay!

The location is great and there is a market nearby, nice choice for backpacker if you want to cook for money saving! The staffs are very nice, room and kitchen is clean. Everything is just good even for a long term stay!

The beds are clean, neat and private. Really good for staying. They even provided a little desk and a mirror in double beds set. There's also kitchen and entertaiments in the basement. We've got a really nice stay there and will recommend it to our friends.

スタッフさんがフレンドリーで、優しく、とてもアットホームなところでした。 リーズナブルな値段でありながらも、アメニティ(シャンプー、リンス、ボディソープ)がありますし、ヘアドライヤー、バスタオルもあります。 ベッドも広いですし、ゆったり寝れます。カーテンがあるのである程度のプライベートも確保できます。 とても満足です！

Eine tolle Unterkunft! Die Betten waren gross und man hatte auch genügend Platz im Zimmer. Es gab einen Lift der einem in das entsprechende Etage brachte. Der Aufenthaltsraum war super ausgestattet. Einen Pingpong oder Billiardtisch, eine Küche, Broschüren und Bücher über Osaka und andere Sehenswerte Städte. Dazu war der Waschbereich ein bisschen versteckt doch einfach zum gebrauchen. Für eine Reise mit grossem Gepäck ist es sehr geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat bei Fragen weitergeholfen.

ひとり旅にはちょうどいいと思います！！ 二段ベッドの下の人たちと会釈できるようなアットホームな雰囲気がとても良かったです！！ ただお風呂が残念だと感じましたがお風呂以外は何の問題もありません 本当に素敵な宿泊施設だと思います！

I booked a room with a “double size bed”(room for two people) but with only one visitor. I had to paid this because they were running out of single bedroom on the website. They gave ma a single size bedroom and calmed it’s a double size bed for “one visitor “ when I arrived. It’s good they finally switch me to a room with double size bed. Anyway, the location is good, service is ok, beds are clean but room is small.
