Smile Nihombashi Mitsukoshimae

I was in nonsmoking room but when I opened the door, I smell smoke. I asked to the front if I can change the room but all rooms are booked. He suggested that to spray an air freshener.

Older, but clean hotel.

Great hotel for the price I paid for!

Polite, friendly staff—not much English, but it wasn’t an issue. Basic breakfast that didn’t vary but was tasty enough. Clean, decent size room. A little bit older busy hotel, but again it was perfectly adequate.

The staff were so polite while i tried to speak in Japanese. For a lower budget hotel, the bed was extremely comfortable, even more so than some of the expensive hotels i have stayed in in Japan.

Good value for money

Area had lots of great little restaurant options, and easy to get around.

Good place to stay except one issue. Bathroom floor raised more than 6 inches. It’s not safe, therefore need to pay attention.

Had a pleasant stay for a one night lay over. The room was clean and staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Room was decent, looked like a budget Hotel, a bit dated. Staff was friendly, but the rooms left things to be desired.

Clean room and close to train station

Location is very convenient, and this is a nice, safe, quiet part of Tokyo, if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of busier Tokyo neighborhoods. Many dining options nearby, as well as shops like Muji. Right on the Ginza line, so convenient to get around to Asakusa or Shibuya, or a short walk to Kanda to hop on the Chuo line to get to Shinjuku.

Building is a bit outdated, but it is in a great location near train stations to maneuver around tokyo. I was able to leave my bagas and the staff took care of them.

The room was really hot during the night until i opened the window to let in cool air. Staff were all polite and attentive.

Although it is getting old, the staff are very helpful and, above all, it is in a great location and very convenient.

I spent 2 nights here as a solo traveler. The good: the hotel is at an excellent location, walking distance from Tokyo Station and a short block or so away from high-end shopping and restaurants. The hotel was also well-priced. The OK: it is an older hotel, so not as shiny as other places I stayed at. Older carpet, small TV with only 4-5 Japanese channels, older bathroom. You get what you pay for. The bad: I was on the top floor and the internet never worked. I brought it up with management 4 times, and I was told that sometimes it is not working at the top floor. (...wifi worked on the ground floor.) Also, I asked for a late checkout, and was told that there is a 1000 yen charge for each hour. Overall, I was not staying in the room much, so for the price, safety, cleanliness, and location, it was well worth it.

There was ongoing construction beside the hotel. Its quite dark outside at night, more lights is better and safer in front of hotel. They charge extra for a garbage like a baggage, cause we bought a new one, so we have to throw away the old one and it cost us extra Y 1,000 per bag...Upon checking in they asked extra Y 200 ??? To think we booked everything and paid for thru expedia. This is first time we came across such extra payments compared with other hotels...
