Great hotel, we were there 6 nights. Friendly reception, breakfast, and cleaning staff. Good location, 3 min walk to Kanda East station. Very small rooms, but totally made up for by the staff and location. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet neighbourhood felt very safe, it’s a 5 min walk to kanda station which we could use to get pretty much everywhere in the city easily! Hotel itself was very clean and nice!

This was perfect for simply sleeping. It was a bit tight for my husband and I but overall, service was excellent. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was good and convenient.

Conveniently ppaced minutes from Kanda station which is on the yamanote line. Hotel room is small as exoected but surprisingly big enough to put 2 large suitcases on floor. Furniture is well thoight out to make use of the tight space. Clean and quiet. The area has plenty of small local eateries minutes away and a big 7-11 is conveniently right downstairs.

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Kanda offered a nice small room to stay in with a good amount of space to live in and stay for a small Vacation. They even had a laundry room for longer stays. The staff were kind and helpful, there were free toothbrush, toothpaste and more for your stay. Everything was great and the location was close to many train station lines which allowed us to travel during our vacation easily.

I've been a fan of the Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotel brand, and have stayed in them for the past 2 trips I've been to Japan. This time, I tried the Tokyo-Kanda branch.
Check-in process was great, staff were friendly and were well-versed in English. Upon entering the room, as expected, it's small for a Tokyo hotel, but still good enough for the price you're paying.
An issue I had while staying is that: upon entering the toilet for the first time, there was a strong pungent pee smell. I asked my partner if she smells it, but she didn't. So I thought I was overthinking it. The smell slowly went away after we showered with shampoo/body wash.
The next day, my partner told me she smelled it as well. We tried to find the source of the smell but to no avail. As we were only there for 3D2N, and we were nearing the end of the trip, we didn't bother to request for a room change.
Another thing I noticed is that the bidet washing mechanism in the toilet bowl, had brown stains all around it. I do not know how sanitary that is, but I avoided using the bidet washing function altogether.
It's a pity as I love the Sotetsu Fresa Inn brand and I wish to think that this is a one-off experience. I would give them another try next time when I'm in Japan, and we shall see if the same thing happens.

The hotel is located next to a 7-Eleven and is within walking distance of 3-4 other convenience stores. The room and bed are slightly larger compared to other business hotels, but I found the bed less comfortable than those at other Sotetsu hotels. There is a smoking room near the reception on the first floor, so you might notice the smell of cigarette smoke while waiting for the elevator
