Really lovely hotel - next to Daiwa shopping centre and on the main tram route (hotel will give you free tram tickets on request)
The onsen facilities are extremely good and the main reason to pick this hotel over its competitors.
No gym but multiple franchise gyms in the vicinity.

I felt extreme abdominal pain when I arrived to the hotel on the first day. I had to ask the hotel to call an ambulance for me even if I'm non-Japanese and it's my first trip to Japan. The front desk lady helped me called one immediately and prepared my personal information right away. After I returned from the hospital, the manager upgraded my room for free for my medical condition without asking. They checked on me everyday to see if I was feeling better during the entire stay.

Here Tennen Onsen Toyama Tsurugi no Yu Onyado Nono is quite possibly the best hotel during my recent trip to Japan. Their restaurant has great food and the hotel is extremely clean! It’s close by to several attractions and the staff is extremely helpful.

This was my first onsen hotel experience and it was wonderful! The room was larger than expected with the cedar tub in the bathroom. Staff were so kind and helpful, and some spoke English (which was helpful with our limited Japanese language skills)
It was less than 2000¥ for the taxi to (and from) Toyama station, or you can take the tram.
Right across from a Daiwa mall and shopping arcade which made it super convenient for shopping and restaurants. Walking distance from arr galleries and museums.
The facilities were spotless and the breakfast was always delicious. Would stay again.
