Nicely located across from Nijo station. Walkable distance to a huge food market. Enjoyable breakfast buffet, and the free latte machine was addicting. The hotel is mostly painted black inside so it’s very dark.

excellent stay in this hotel. My first stop in Japan. Stayed with my adult son. We are very pleased with the hotel. Great location near the train stop which made it very convenient.

This hotel, conveniently located just across from the train station, offers comfortable and spacious rooms that are clean and tidy. The hotel provides free amenities and a coffee bar/water dispenser, which is an added bonus. There are a few coffee shops nearby, and an excellent hair spa is just down the road. The hotel is relatively close to Nijo Castle, but it’s away from the bustling central Kyoto and Nishiki markets, which are a few train rides away. We’ve had a comfortable stay but location was not the best.

It's basically right at Nijo Station which makes getting around Kyoto from there quite easy. Best place to stay for first time visitors.

We have only good things to say about this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, next to Nijo Station. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a good value for the money. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Kyoto.

The hotel is in an excellent location, the room was very clean and quiet, the staff were friendly. We would've liked to have had wine glasses in the room and there was also no teaspoons although there is a kettle and tea and coffee available in the lobby.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and luggage storage option came in very handy. The rooms are big enough to open suitcases and the bathroom was a good size. It is right across from a 7-11 and the train station so that is really convenient, and the free coffee all day was a nice perk. I would stay here again.
