Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo Station Minami

Very close to JR station, staff can hardly speak English, but they are very nice, polite.

Room is small but good enough as it is clean.

I cannot expect more as it is value for money. The hotel is approx. 400-500 meters from Sapporo Station. One thing matter is about the bathroom. I prefer not to have the bathtub so the space will be better for movement. It just too small.

The location was not really visible to find from the main streets around, recommend to read the direction throughly before you go. The room was roomy for this rate and clean. The staff was very friendly and kind to help when I had an issue with delivery service. Breakfast was also good for this room rate. Highly recommended when you would like to save hotel expense and still would expect good service.

Quiet and clean room. Bed is comfortable. Good water pressure to take a shower. This place is unsafe as mentioned inside the hotel room. We were asked to lock the door as there are bad people around the hotel area. I was shocked when I read this message in the hotel room.

From inn to subway station is two minutes and to convenience store is five minutes walk away.

A budget hotel with reasonable condition. Breakfast was not fancy but was acceptable. Good location. I was happy overall with this stay considering the money I needed to pay.

We went to the wrong way. Fortunately a Japanese man helped us to find the hotel.

I really like this hotel. Simple no frills but has everything you would need. The service is excellent. I was greeted by the manager and another staff member name, Airu. They spoke very good English and helped me learn about how to explore the area with maps. My trip to Japan was excellent with exception of getting around with bus system. I was really worried about catching the train to take me back to new Chitose airport the next morning. I asked Airu for direction so she provided them to me. Even so I was still hesitant because of previous adventures. Luck would have it that Airu was getting off work when I was leaving. She offered to help carry some stuff for me as I was overloaded with snowboard gear. I refused then but later ran into her on the while walking to train station. She was going to the train station as well so walked with me to the station. When we got there, I asked if she would help me get a ticket so because I was overwhelmed with all the people. She did so gladly. I am so grateful for the help. She told me which platform to go to and made sure I was headed on the right path. All went well. I am just amazed at the level of helpful and generosity of the Japanese people. Regarding hotel, excellent value. Beware Google maps has the address as R&B hotel which is 3 blocks down.

Pleasure stay.. Nice clean single room, provide daily breakfast. Easy access to Subway and JR station.

The air condition was placed right above the bed. Which was really bad for sleeping.

帰省の飛行機が欠航になり翌日便になってしまいました。困り電話した所、空室はないけれど、北口を紹介頂いて、大変助かりました。ありがとうございました。

フロントの方がいつも明るく優しくて嬉しかったです。フロント前が朝食会場なので椅子と机がたくさんあって、ゆっくりできました。

部屋はキレイで使いやすかったです。 食事面では、サービス・・・という事であればという感じです。気になるとすれば、ドリンクのピッチャーに氷が直接の入っていたので、氷が溶けてしまうと、味が薄くなってしまうと感じました。あと、牛乳がなかったのも残念でした。 ホテル前の入口は、薄暗くてちょっと怖かったです。
