I really liked this hotel, it was simple but really nice. Good location, walkable to all the attractions. They have free breakfast, it was a surprise. And staff are really nice.

The room was overlooking a wall and it was very very small. Very dated decor and old furniture. The bedding looked dirty and the room smelled like smoke - we booked a non smoking room. The location is good but the hotel was expensive (more expensive than the one in Kyoto that was 100 times better) and the overall condition of the property was not great. The staff speakers english but they were not very kind.

Hôtel très bien situé et propre (comme partout au Japon). Mais chambres vraiment extrêmement petites (impossibilité de déposer les valises) et petit déjeuner vraiment pauvre. Par ailleurs le personnel est peu anglophone et peu disposé à répondre à nos questions (comment aller à l’aéroport, combien coute un billet de bus...des questions simples pourtant). Je pense qu’au même prix, on peut trouver mieux.

Room and hotel is quite good. Staff are helpful. While the sheets on the bed and the rest of the hotel appeared clean, the duvet cover on bed had stains on it, so did not look clean. The breakfast labels allergies of dairy, eggs and gluten. However they do not label what foods contain meat or fish. This makes it very difficult. There is a free drinks machine in lobby with juice and soda which is nice. Although some of the drinks contain milk and are not labelled as such.

Hotel is well situated for visiting the Peace Memorial area. The hot pool was small but clean and enjoyabl with sauna. The hotel itself is outdated, quite cramped and very basic.

Stayed at this hotel in late October 2018. Location is good, not too far from the Hatchobori tram stop. Also not too far from the Maple Loop bus stops. Breakfast opened at 5:00AM which was nice, since it gave us time for an early start. Variety of breakfast items which were tasty. Drinks in the lobby was nice at all times of the day. Public Bath was nice. Did not use the coin laundry, since it was always being used when I went down to take a look. Employees were friendly enough. I did not have any trouble communicating with them in English. Overall I would stay here again.

The staff is extremely friendly and spoke good English. The bathroom smelled like there was a sewage problem which was concerning and made it hard to use even with the fan running all night. The breakfast was good, very basic.
