We had a wonderful seven days stay at Wander Kyoto Nanajo and will definitely stay again if there’ll be another chance to come back to Kyoto. The entire property is very clean, linens, carpet, bathroom, etc. The staff are wonderful too. The free coffee/tea/water at the lounge area are very much appreciated. The 7-11 across the street is a great addition to the positive points. Kyoto station is just about 15 mins walk.

Rooms are a bit small, I had the Hollywood twin room but blankets are clean and comfortable and warm down blankets. We always got clean towels and trash taken out daily. Complimentary Drinks, tea and coffee were a nice treat every morning. 7eleven across the street for anything needed at any hour. The bbq yakiniki and Everest Nepalese cuisine were our favorites. Otherwise walking distance to Kyoto without the crazy bustle is good. They provide all the amenities you may have forgotten brush, toothbrush or shavers which is always nice. Slippers and pajamas provided also.

Nice, modern hotel for a fair price. No special amenities, but it was a good spot to rest after long days walking around. Friendly staff. We were able to store our bags before check-in/after check-out at arrival and departure, which was great. Good location fairly close to a lot of the main sights.

A great location close to the river with only a short walk to Kyoto station. Affordable and friendly. The rooms are of course small but you didn’t travel all the way to Kyoto to hang out in a hotel room.

This property was beautiful. Very “zen” and relaxing for us, in the middle of our trip to Japan. The rooms were very spacious and beds were quite comfortable. My favorite part was how the staff there are very attentive. In particular, Laxmi was amazing. She saw I made a reservation for dinner for our honeymoon. She went out of her way to decorate and add an extra touch before we checked in. She definitely made us feel special and enjoyed our stay that much more.

Decent clean midsized hotel, handy to the Shichijo station for Gion and Nara though Kyoto central station is 15 minutes walk or subway. A few decent eating options and at least 3 really good craft beer bars if that's your thing! Rooms a bit small but ok by japanese standards.

The staff at Wander were so accommodating and kind. We also loved the lounge and the free drinks available. The hotel is in a great location near a 7/11 and by the subway station. Great price as well. Couldn’t ask for much more!

This hotel is walking distance to the nearest station, including Kyoto station. It is right across from 7-11 and near other konbini like Mini-Stop and Lawson. Staff was very helpful with any concerns.
