Yugarawa Fuga

The hotel is up a steep sloping street and in a quiet area. It has a traditional feel and the cafe is really nice and the hot springs, however there is no view, unless you pay for the private baths upstairs. The whole place could use a bit of a facelift, but more of an issue was the lack of service and the quality of the food, particularly dinner. We arrived too late for the 6:30 seating and was given the 7:00 p.m. seating. Clearly the appetizer box had been sitting out for a long time and the kobo croquet was dry and tasteless, the apple, kabocha and daikon (?!) tart was one of the worst combos of flavors I have ever had and the chicken was dry. The breakfast was better, but the chicken left over from dinner was served as some new dish and was worse than the night before. We were not offered coffee or tea with breakfast and when we asked for salt, pepper and milk were told that they didn't 'have' them, which of course they do. We went to the cafe after breakfast to get another cup of coffee and the machine was out of beans. One of my friend's I was traveling with lost her phone and we asked the front desk to check the restaurant and cafe and were told that no one had found it. My friend went down in the morning and checked under the seat where we were sitting and, there it was. Just for a bit of perspective, I have lived in Japan for 30 years and chose this hotel because I wanted to stay within my friend's budget, and feel it was still too much for the experience.

ちょっとした狭い急坂を登った先に目指す宿はありました。駐車場が少しわかりづらいのが難点か。 中に入った時点でリラックスタイムの始まりです。日当たりがよく、ジャズの流れる喫茶室でのコーヒーからはじなり、心地よい温泉と、テレビの無い客室にほっとします。 夕食は適度の豪勢な洋食メニューに心もお腹も大満足。スタッフの気配りもバッチリ。 夜はちょっとだけお仕事して、あとはゆっくり就寝しました。 朝のお風呂と、朝食メニューに満足しつつ、フロントスタッフの対応も丁寧とフレンドリーのハイブリッドで心地よかったです。 また機会あればリピートしたい宿の一つに追加されました。

星空満天の貸し切り露天風呂は残念ながら星は全く見えずでした

静かで過ごしやすかったです。

お料理は、創作料理で、特にアミューズは、小皿がたくさんあって、楽しく美味しくいただきました。 お風呂のお湯がなめらかでよかったです。 立地がいまいたなのか、景色がないのがちょっと残念。 でも、くつろぐところは、素敵だし、手作りのお醤油作りは、よいアイデアだと思いました。

Sehr schönes Haus im japanischen Stil mit Onsen - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

旅館はとても良かったです

本館の方に宿泊をしました。 館内とても綺麗でスタッフの方も親切に対応してくださったため、充実した旅になりました！ ただ、エスカレーターに乗る際に階段を登ったり降りたりするのが少し不便かな、ご老人には大変だと感じました。

とても快適に過ごすことが出来ました。 お料理もとても美味しく頂きました。

全体的に落ち着いているかつ接客態度がよくとてもよかったです。

カラーセレクトのサービス、デザートが、別室で提供など、新鮮でした。 TVがないのもよかったです。
