I'd never stayed in a ryokan before, but have always heard what it was like. I can confidently say, after being in this one, that ryokans are an exceptional place to relax. The traditional rooms are spacious, has a great views, and sleeping in a futon on tatami is a classic for a reason!
The amenities are very nice too, with two whole building's worth of stuff! A public bath, karaoke, arcade, bowling, an izakaya, etc. Probably the only thing I would like is wifi in the room (it's only otherwise found in the lobby).
But other than that, a wonderful experience I am glad to have had!

浴衣サービスやお部屋の広さ、お茶菓子のサービス、スタッフの親切さは満点でした。
館内にボーリング、卓球場もあり、貸切露天風呂も利用させていただきました。高級な旅館が立ち並んで古びた感はありますが、お値段が安かったし、気持ちよく利用させて頂きました。

外観は、ちょっと古いかな…と思ったけど、お部屋もお風呂もとても綺麗で、とても快適に過ごせた。お料理もとても豪華で、すごく美味しかった！
お部屋の広さに対して、借りた加湿器がとても小さく、部屋の中は乾燥していた。

The actual condition of the hotel is quite different from the photos shown online. The guestroom itself was acceptable but showing its age. The ceiling was peeling (fake woodgrain paper). The only Wi-fi service available is in the lobby which smells strongly of cigarette smoke. The hot-spring baths were nice and the food was good. They did accommodate my vegetarian needs.

家族参加者の中に、方向おんち、が居ましてお風呂から部屋に帰る時に近くのエレベーターに乗車して迷子になりました。出来れば分岐する場所に道案内をひと工夫願います。
夕食時間について、今回17時にチェックインしました。
食事時間が18：00からと19：00からに設定されていて、
中間の18：30を希望しましたが叶えて貰えませんでした。急いでお風呂に入り18：00を少し過ぎてしまいました。

出張の際に利用させていただきました。
チェックインの際に対応していただいたフロントの女性スタッフの方は無愛想で対応がいまいちでした。
説明も不足していてタオルがどこにあるか、大浴場へのアクセス等わからりにくいことがとても多かったです。
お部屋は掃除がきちんとされていて綺麗でしたが、大浴場（部屋に風呂は無い）のバスマットや浴場の床などはかなり施設自体が古いのもありますがちょっと不気味な感じがしました。
朝食も開始時時刻の前から会場の前で待っている方が数名いらっしゃったようですが、開始時間になっても誘導やアナウンスがなくてずっと待っていらっしゃる方がいて不親切なように感じました。
8時頃チェックアウトしましたが、その際はフロント対応は一名で列が出来ていてとても待ちました。
ネットにて事前精算しているのでなんでこんな待つんだろうと思いましたが、チェックアウトの際に入湯税300円精算という流れでした。チェックイン時に入湯税精算してくれた方がチェックアウトがスムーズになると思います。
