A peaceful and relaxing simple retreat. Old style ryokan with tatami mats etc. We used the men only onsen and were basically alone in there. It was very clean and hot. Perfect. Also they offered complimentary coffee, tea and ramen cup. They provided everything we needed for using the baths.

I love the traditional tatami rooms here. The ‘Bekkan’ is an annex and based in an older building that is charmingly done. It has its own baths, but you have access to the bigger and outdoor baths at the main building a block away. We hadn’t ticked the dinner box when reserving. Dining options in this town may be somewhat limited as most onsen inns serve meals inside. The restaurants fill up. We ordered the dinner when we arrived. It is a bit pricey, but is a all you can eat buffet with Japanese, Chinese and som western options. The drinks are included as well. The rooms were authentic and the baths excellent. This whole town is duper charming and fun to explore.

交通の便が悪くバスの予約が必要なことを知らなくヒヤヒヤしました。
また、帰りのバスも他の旅館の人たちは旅館から予約してもらえてました。ご案内があれば助かります。

別館と言うコト本館よりも料金は安い
歩いて1分の本館の宿泊者専用風呂にも入れる
食事は、朝夕とも付いてなく部屋にカップ麺が用意されてるが温泉街自体に食事出来る所が少ない為、持ち込むのが良いと思います。
部屋にはケトルがありますしロビーにはレンジがあります。
温泉巡りが出来て３箇所入れるので１つ入って部屋に戻って一休み
もう１箇所入って部屋に戻って一休みとゆっくり過ごせました。
別館は、基本的にセルフサービスですのでそのつもりで用意さえしとけばとても良いと思います。
別館にも内湯ですが温泉あります。
