Zonk Hotel Nakasu

Unless you would compromise with many negative things, yet I feel so much guilt to give this place even 1 star. I had had stayed with my children and we were very excited to visit Japan. However, there were issues like missing essentials, i.e. they called a hotel themselves but actual rooms were out of date and broken many equipments. The worst thing happened was that the auto-lock system was broken and locked me out for a while after midnight. If you run accommodation, you expect at least reasonable security, don’t you? On top of this, there had no hot water and tap water was not properly maintained. It reminded me if I was in a run down an American motel even very terrible one. I had of course complained but all I had given the response was that famous template for apology, “ We sincerely apologise etc.” Big NO!!! Never ever wish to stay around this town as I have ever imagined such horrible experiences waiting to be happened in highly respected and modern country like Japan. I will erase entire journey but it gave me a really special lesson. Just wanted to repeat DO NOT book here if you don’t want screw up your precious time.

Bed bugs! I’m bitten all over my body. So horrible and disgusting. I’m afraid the bed bugs might have came back with my clothes or luggage. Very disappointing.

레지던스여서 그런지, 가격 대비-그리고 다른 호텔 대비 정말로 넓었습니다. 욕조가 있는 것도 좋았어요. 셀프 어메니티여서 편하게 가져다 썼고 그런 점에서 수건이 셀프인 것도 그렇게 나쁘진 않았습니다. 다만 일본 아파트를 개조해서인지 확실히 소음에 취약해요 ㅋㅋ 저희가 피해를 끼칠 뻔했습니다. 그리고 한가지 의문점은, 왜 하루요시에 위치해 있는데 종크 나카스인가요? 길을 잃어서 나카스 인근의 같은 체인으로 찾아가버렸습니다 ㅠㅠ

This place isn’t the best for young children but may be great for adults traveling together as a group.

All the web addresses that were given me couldn't connect. 'Error code 404'. All the phone numbers also, 'no answer or unavailable'. Finally, checked in using the confirmation code at the site. The room was nice, but very dirty. Dust on every surface, shower and tub enclosure moldy. Air conditioner remote didn't work at all. Stuck on cooling and would not turn off. The beds were old and the box springs were uneven and made all sorts of noises when lying down. Will never book with this company again,

Unmanned hotel, Aircon: not cold at all!!! Very uncomfortable bed. 1 towel per person for the entire duration of stay. Absolutely the worst in Fukuoka! Don’t stay here. Even the pre check-in page, only available in Japanese. Avoid this property. There’s a lot of nearby hotels that are way better thank Zonk Nakasu!

It was really great and clean

Our trip was a weekend family trip. We had three rooms. Check in was confusing. It was self check in and the procedure wasn’t too clear. The room was pretty spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable. There was no way to get extra linens unless you were able to catch the cleaning crew first thing in the morning. There was a lot of storage throughout the room and nice amenities in the bathroom. This hotel might be ok for a quick overnight but if you have a bad back, I don’t recommend it.

If you are considering to stay here, DON'T DO IT, the service, atention and cleanliness are really really bad, I wish I had the opportunity to read a review like this so I could choose a different place...

The location is close to lots of restaurants, but the environment remains quiet. Cleanliness is the key concern of the hotel. Also, the heater (air-conditioner) is quite noisy at night.

The location of the hotel near to Tenjin and it’s full with eatery. Bus stop is just 5 minutes walk away and it’s really convenient

It is definitely worth the price if u are travelling in a big group of 5 to 6 people

The hotel is situated near both Tanjin and Hakita. Very nice location for tourist. Room spacious and clean

It is an unmanned hotel. It is suitable for young people.

Indoor garden on 2nd floor was nice oasis. The property is at a good location, however can be a bit noisy when other guests return.

Great location. Few minute walk to the yatai (food stalls) by the river, canal city (large department store), and tons of local restaurants. Staff didn't speak much English, but were friendly and kind. Room is simple and clean with comfortable beds and an A/C for those who like to keep cool at night. Would definitely recommend for travelers who need a place to sleep after touring Fukuoka.

Building and amenities seems new. Room perfectly fits 6 persons. It will be more convenient if toilet is separated from the bath/shower area, since waiting time to use it will be long for a group of 6 pax. Free bottled water on first day only. We stayed for 4 nights, no daily cleaning of the room. We ask for another set of towels once only. Smartphone wifi to GO is very helpful. We can cook and eat. I just wish that they will add a free use of Washer/dryer for clothes in the room, that would be Awesome.
