The Staff in the Astana Ritz-Carlton were EXTREMELY helpful.
Conscierge Arman booked a trip to a smaller city.
Kamilla, from that small city, wrote descriptions of sites and made helpful recommendations.
Damili from that small city, supported with advice.
Azimat at the front desk was helpful and courteous.

All of the employees were extremely helpful. They called me by name and were very friendly.
I had reserved a city view room but got a room with a view of the outside maintenance shack. My bathroom had a shade with spaces on each side where I could see out to the shed and several times saw the employee going in and out of the shed. I never felt comfortable in the bathroom or shower. Not acceptable for the Ritz Carlton.

When my wife and my son arrived at the property early in the morning they were told to sit at the lobby because their rooms were not ready. The problem was that the rooms were booked and paid for the whole day prior to their arrival. When I called up the property to resolve the matter all of the managers were too busy to talk to me. There is a night club on the third floor, which has a an open air bar and dance floor. Horrible loud music which you can hear in your room. No matter what floor you are on. Make sure to ask for the room which does not face this place

Probably the best option in Astana, especially if you want to be sure the quality is where you expect it.
Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Club Lunge is not worth the upgrade. Breakfast very good even on Ritz standards.
Staff is very friendly and good wot work with. On-site restaurants are decent, Selfie on 18th worth mentioning for the impressive wine-list and splendid views of the city.
Definately will be back when in Astana.

Ritz-Carlton in Nur-Sultan is exceptional. Great service and wonderful people. I had a great massage in the spa. I will gladly return to the Ritz for more relaxation

A stunning hotel with the friendliest staff. Despite the entire city being shut down, the staff did all they could to ensure I had a wonderful vacation. The food was delicious and the spa was the ultimate treat. I highly recommend staying at The Ritz if you have the chance.

The hotel is in a great location and has great facilities that are very well maintained. Spa & gym are fantastic. All staff without exception were friendly. One evening I had a series of problems with dining that were not enjoyable but the next evening the team went out of their way to make up for it - especially Zhazira and her manager in the lobby restaurant.
Food in the Selfie restaurant is absolutely superb.
Overall a very enjoyable stay.
