Kingston Hotel 1 @ Bukit Bintang

At 4 PM the cleaning staff came into the room, we were sleeping and we were shocked and immediately reported it to the hotel.

I had a very unpleasant experience. On Monday, July 21, 2025, I booked four rooms with three different booking IDs for Kingston Hotel 1 @ Bukit Bintang via Traveloka. Booking ID number 1270488xxx for two Deluxe Twin Rooms 1270489xxx for one Deluxe Queen Room 1270507xxx for one Deluxe Queen Room 4 rooms in total. In our booking, we had provided a note that we would be checking in late at night. Landing at KLIA at 10:00 PM, we headed to the hotel and arrived around midnight. However, the hotel reception only offered three rooms, claiming that only three bookings had been entered into their system, while booking ID number 1270507xxx for one Deluxe Queen Room in the name of PMM was not recorded in their system. (It could have been a fault with the hotel booking app) With heavy hearts, we requested three available room keys. We were disappointed to find that only two rooms were available. The third room, even after three attempts (up and down from the room to the lobby) wouldn't open. We were shocked when the receptionist tried to open it with the main access card, but there was another occupant in the room. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, they finally gave us another room (which I assumed was a spare room, as the elevator only goes to the 6th floor, and the room was on the 7th floor, requiring stairs, contrary to the elevator stated in my booking). That same evening, I contacted Traveloka using the app, and was eventually contacted via WhatsApp by the Traveloka team to address my complaint. I asked the Traveloka team to speak with the hotel receptionist, and they admitted there were only three rooms available. However, the hotel ultimately provided an additional room, but it's a single bed, different from my order (I assumed it was hotel policy, as it was late at night and we were short on rooms). So the focus of my complaint to the hotel is why there are residents in the room given to us?

The location is very strategic, the price is quite cheap, the atmosphere around the hotel is quite supportive for all needs.

The location of hotel is very strategic. Its located not far from Sungei Wang Plaza. Its just 3 minutes by walking. The hotel also near with MRT station, its just 1 minute by walking. There are about 5 money changer shop around this hotel.

More improved and added, even better

The hotel is clean and close to everything. If you want to go to the Pavilion, you can just walk. It's the best.

Great location, spacious twin beds, good AC and water heater. Unfortunately, on our first day there were no towels, tissue was empty, and no bathroom mat. Had to request these at reception. No in-room phone, so we had to go down for any needs. Stayed 3 nights, but room was never cleaned. On the last day, a charger went missing, but thankfully the night staff was very helpful and found it. Day reception was less responsive. Please keep the CCTV on level 4 active for security. Also, hotel name on Grab is different from Google Maps — should use “Sungei Wang Hotel” to avoid confusion.

Hotel has a very good location. For a minimum price, I think every penny is worth it.

Very bad. I do not recommend staying there. The CS is very rude. Everyone who checked in got angry and at 4 pm they still could not check in and gave the excuse that there was no room.

Staying here is very close to tourist attractions, the hotel is nice and clean, it is really worth it for those who go to KL and want to stay near Bukit Bintang.

This is my second time staying here, the place is very strategic, comfortable, clean. For the food I have never tried, next time come here again.

The first staff is not friendly, the second staff is friendly. The room is very minimal, the shower can't be turned on, but for those who are on a budget it's okay. Strategic location.

The only thing that I like about this hotel is the location near alor street and MRT station. I'm booked the room with large bed, but they give me twin bed and doesn't informed before. The air condition is so noise.

Use a deposit of RM100, it will be returned upon check out. Very close to the mall and culinary places.

clean room, unfriendly staff, room had to be asked to be cleaned, stayed 2 nights but tax was asked for 30 ringgit, while in the next hotel per night they were only asked for 10 ringgit for tax.

The water is not flowing. On the 2nd day, the room was not cleaned, even though it had been reported. So the equipment on the 2nd day was useless. I don't want to stay here again.
