We had a great stay. They fulfilled my requests of higher floor, king sized bed with connecting room. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was at satisfactory meal. Shopping malls, places of interests, restaurants and self laundry shop were all at reasonable walking distance from Moty Hotel. Will definitely come again.

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. FACILITIES - Swimming pool operation hours is only from 8am - 8pm. - Children below the age of 12yrs and Senior Citizen is not allowed. - Sauna Steam room is temporarily close. - Strictly only swimming attire is allowed.

value for money.room clean and nice.swimming pool indoor clean.breakfast variety and delicious.near by shop and dataran pahlawan.easy to access but parking need to pay by ourself..overall I'm happy to staycation at moty hotel and definitely will come again.

The bathroom floor feels sticky. The smell of feces is quite strong in the bathroom (when we just checked in). The floor in the shower is not very clean either.. should have used a brush to scrub. The food is just average. In the picture on the menu it says chicken porridge but when you get it, plain porridge (not even with salt). The smell of the hotel is very disappointing. The smell of steam…… the air passage in the swimming pool is also not good, making the smell of steam. The swimming pool water is a little green. All in all, not gonna repeat again.

highly recommended... the room is very comfortable, super spacious, has a bathtub, luxurious, has a swimming pool... located in the middle of the city... the room smells really good... basically, if you go to Malacca, don't forget to stay at Moty Hotel....

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room itself was good. However, I found the lighting in the bathroom to be too dim, and there was no fridge in the room. All in all, it was still a great place to stay, with the hotel being within walking distance to Jonker Street and a nearby mall.

This hotel steal my security deposit, stay away from this Moty Hotel. During check-in, the hotel charged me 200MYR on Aug 10th for what they called the security deposit, and when I checked out, the staff promised me it will be refunded automatically within 2 weeks on the same card. But until today, there is no refunded yet. Moty Hotel, why didn't you return my security deposit? Is that how you treat tourist from other country? 200MYR is not a big amount, but stealing 200MYR from a tourist is un-ethical and cheating. Other tourist, please stay away from this Moty hotel.
