Day's Inn Hotel and Residence

First impressions not great. Streets outside are durty and some vacant properties, lobby was a little messy. Room was clean and everything worked. Good size. Sliama is not a nice area particularly at night time. This hotel is more like an apartment block Location is ideal for boat trips and ferry to Valletta. Valletta and the islands are the real showpiece.

Can't understand the many negative reviews. you get what you pay for. Great budget hotel in central Sliema. Room was cleaned every day. Fresh towels clean bedding. Good size room. nice big walk in shower. Yes it wasn't perfect. Broken bedside lights. marks on the walls. Blinds needed replacing as they were a bit grotty. If your expecting luxury pay the extra and go elsewhere. If your just after a somewhere to get your head down after a day of exploring Malta can't fault it. Down a quiet side street a 2 minute walk to the bus and ferry terminals.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! So helpful with all kinds of things. The hotel is close to buses, the ferry to Valletta and restaurants and shopping..

The location is great,friendly receptionist. The room was very simple, the shower was pretty inconvenient (hair always get wet if you want to take a shower) , there was always some noise around 6-7 am, so I couldn't sleep well.

A basic, clean and well-run establishment. Very good value for money.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it’s a perfect budget friendly accommodation. The room and bathroom were big and clean, the breakfast was basic but enjoyable. I would recommend to younger travelers as it seems this is some kind of student accommodation and people can be loud during the night. Considering the price and location, I think it was good value for money.

The hotel location is its best asset! Peaceful abd not car congested street, yet walking minutes away from ferry crossing to La Valetta, sightseeing buses departure point as well as cruises. Convenience stores, supermarkets and all kind of shops nearby. The fact that the hotel shares the property with an international student resident accommodation, affects a little bit the required tranquility, although both receptionist and security guard, do whatever needed. Breakfast is ok, a little bit of everything.

It’s pretty basic but is cheap. Could at least do with tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Fortunately the location was fantastic and anything you need is on the doorstep.

Internet slower than any place I ever visited. Several things in room not working: remote to TV, some power sockets, no toiletteries, no free internet in room, problems with shower etc.

Ideal location of hotel and very friendly staff but rooms outdated.Clean towels were an issue,your used/dirty towels were were hung back on the towel rail for you to reuse for about 3days!we were told we had to wait for a clean delivery of towels! Breakfast limited selection.Clean bedding would have been nice too!

Stains and rings on four out of four towels. Try to look backlit. You won't put your face on! Some towels even with holes. Dust on the shampoo and gel bags. The did not replace them. Every day I had to call the reception to get some. Water consistently dropping out of the AC in the room, making the floor completely slippery, including the corridor. Almost breaking a leg falling down. Stinky and dusty closet: unusable. Extremely poor breakfast. Nobody really caring. Zero accountability. Do not park in front of the hotel. They said it was not a problem and I got a ticket. Obviously they said they could not do anything with that. Avoid this place. It's worse than a hostel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. There seem to be some trouble with the air conditioning the day that we visited. The room is small and so is the bathroom, but clean and well appointed. Great location. You can walk to lots of shopping and dining. Just a couple blocks from the water.

Good basic accommodation with all basic necessities. Good location and close to ferry dock and bus stops.

Great rooftop pool and clean rooms. Only complaints would be the A/C was not very powerful, and it took 40 minutes for the receptionist to get us a taxi, so don't leave it too late for a flight! Otherwise, great hotel in great location.

Reasonable facilities. Two single beds put together to make double but no mattress covers and no suitable bed sheets.
