Five Trees B&B

Quirky Guesthouse 100 metres from the waterfront of Sliema. Got all the basics if that is what you want. Ultimately, 'Cheap and cheerful'. would recommend to the solo traveler just looking for somewhere to sleep and nothing fancy.

Good sized room and genuine staff. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience at this property due to the strange decor.

Quaint little place just up away from the ferries and all main bus routes in Sliema. It's a converted old house made into about five rooms and two shared bathrooms.. The two girls, Mika and Mia are very welcoming and helpful in every way. They keep the place clean but you look after your own room. Full use of a kitchen if you need to. Perfect for a couple of nights stay. Cheap and Cheerful!

Great location, friendly staff. No aircon, only one fan for a three bedroom room. TV didn't work. Shared bathrooms.

We are mother and 9 year old son and we travel a lot. Before booking we read some negative reviews and were curious to understand what we would find. We found a wonderful house that thrilled us, a spacious room with freshly laundered sheets and a fan, always clean bathroom and shower with a washing machine available and a bright kitchen with everything you need. Traveling with a child is not easy if you are alone but at Five Trees we didn't have the feeling of being alone, on the contrary, we met delightful people, the Australian gentleman always with a ready joke, the smiling English lady, the very polite girls in the blue room and then even Mr. Carmelo, the baker who creates his wonders at night, yes because at night the room fills with an irresistible scent and in the morning with just 50 cents you can eat the best apple tarts in the world. Special thanks to Claire who gave us her music and contagious smile, a special and very serious girl who keeps everything impeccable. A very big hug to Maja because all the sacrifices and efforts always pay off, there is heart in Five Trees and it shows, we will definitely be back. Elena and Orso 🐻😎

cleaning was good but once per day for a bath shared in 5 people is not enough. the room was hot like hell with only a noisy fan (not enough, too). awful experience

A very fois place in Sliema, with a symphatic staff.

Ich war während meines Aufenthaltes im "Green room" (Einzelzimmer) untergebracht. Die Atmosphäre im Five Trees ist sehr ungezwungen, die Ausstattung funktional (Etagen-Bad und WC - aber immer tiptop sauber!), an manchen Stellen aber schon recht marode (Armaturen in der Dusche). Das Gebäude insgesamt ist SEHR hellhörig! Ich empfehle DRINGEND Silikonohrstöpsel, sonst findet man keine Nachtruhe. Wie schon in vielen anderen Rezensionen angeklungen, ist die Bäckerei nebenan der "Hauptübeltäter", woran die Betreiber des Five Trees natürlich nichts ändern können. Auch wenn Gäste sich im Gemeinschaftsraum unterhalten, klingt es so, als säßen sie mit im eigenen Zimmer. Die Dekoration der Räume ist Geschmackssache, mich persönlich haben die Wandtatoos und die Hippie/Backpacker-Dekoration nicht so angesprochen. Die Lage ist sehr günstig, es sind nur ca. 5 Minuten bis zur Fähre nach Valletta, dazu halten viele Busse gleich in der Nähe (auch vom Flughafen kommend). Außerdem liegt ein neu gebautes Einkaufszentrum nicht weit entfernt (ca. 15 min zu Fuß). Ein Manko, das man erwähnen sollte ist die schlechte Auffindbarkeit der Unterkunft. Ich habe trotz Google Maps nicht direkt hingefunden, selbst Einheimische konnten mir zunächst nicht weiterhelfen, da kein Namensschild an der Haustür angebracht ist und die Straße seltsamerweise niemandem auf Anhieb bekannt war. Trotz geringfügiger Mängel kann ich das Five Trees durchaus empfehlen, da es preislich ja definitiv unter dem Durchschnitt liegt.

2泊しました。私は日本人です。 建物自体は古いですが、 細かいところまで清掃されていて清潔です。 私はあまり英語を話せないのですが そんな私にも丁寧にゆっくり話してくれたり、 荷物を持つのを手伝ってくれました。 着いてすぐ飲み物を出してくれました。 朝食はないです。 でも、水、コーヒー、ジュースなど飲み物が いつでも飲めます。 トイレとシャワールームも綺麗に清掃されています。

Buona posizione, mobilio vecchiotto ma tutto sommato si presentava bene. Belle le decorazioni delle camere e i bagni anche se condivisi, presentavano una buona pulizia generale. Molto silenzioso, consigliato.
