We stayed in July 2026 for a week and had room number 11 on the same level as the rooftop pool. The balcony was very spacious with two loungers and table and chairs. Lovely view towards Marsalforn and the sea beyond.
The room was a good size and well equipped with a kettle and coffee machine. Tea bags and instant coffee replenished each day and two coffee pods to start you off with more available at 60 cents from the bar.
Breakfast is 4 items from a pre-select list which you fill in the day before which includes 5 different types of egg, cereal, fresh fruit, bacon, sausages, pastries etc. Loads of choice and we found the portion sizes very generous. Toast and marmalade etc is also included as well as the four items.
The location is perfect for getting around the island, there is a regular bus service through Xaghra although the bus stop next to the hotel was out of use when we were there due to adjustments to the bus route because of roadworks elsewhere in the village. Bolts are also easy and cheap. There is a small shop 2 minutes walk away selling most of the everyday things you might need, and a pharmacy nearby too.
The main square is approx 5-10 minutes walk and has a few restaurants and bars. We ate in a different one each night and found the food excellent in all. Special mention for "73 In The Square", no food but great for a drink - lovely, hospitable owners.
I would definitely recommend Il Logga, great place to stay in a superb location.

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s well located 5 mins walk from Xaghra square and there’s a bus stop almost outside the property.
Our room was light, airy and modern with a small balcony with sea view.
Breakfast are enormous with lots of choice (you choose 4 x items the day before) and freshly cooked.
Best of all for this week where the temperature was a constant 30-31 was the rooftop pool; it’s not big but it doesn’t need to be.
Last shout out goes to the staff, friendly and helpful. We even got a late checkout at no extra cost.
Would we stay here again?

Absolutely fantastic hotel breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had on a holiday. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was spotless beds very comfortable and quiet at night the pool was an added bonus. The hotel was situated at the bus stop and a five minute walk to the lovely square

The interior is well kept. The staff treated us with kindness. Friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We chose the room with a full balcony and loved having two types of chairs- 2 uprights with a table and 2 loungers. It was lovely to have a private outside place to lounge, especially since we stayed a week. Breakfast was included, filling, tasty, and we custom ordered every evening from a menu for the next morning.
They do have a restaurant on-site which serves delicious food. As is common with most eateries in town, they are not open every night. However there are other options up in the town square.
The location is 1/4 mile walk from the town center square where there about 7 restaurants. It's a mile walk to Victoria if you go the back way, although it's a pretty steep incline.
One must play "frogger" when walking, carefully watching for cars. We enjoyed the relaxing, laid back atmosphere of Xaghra. We used a combination of ride share, public buses and walking to get around. We enjoyed the Hop Off and Hop on bus to allow us to get an overview of the Island of Gozo.
We recommend II-Boutique Hotel and would stay here again.

A higly recommended boutique hotel (winner of the award for the best Malta boutique hotel for 2025). My wife and stayed here for two weeks in November (the off season) and it was perfect for our base of operations. The rooms are kept spotless. The breakfast (included) is cooked for you daily. And for dinner in the restaurant (not included) food, wine, and service are exceptional.
This is a small, locally owned, family run hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners and staff were happy to provide suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and activities.

The view from the balcony depends from which room you are staying in. The view from those in the front of the hotel are great. Obviously the ones with a street view are less extetic. But nice just the same.
For breakfast there was quite a list to choose for. It depended from what tickled your fancy. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet the waiter who is very erudite in various languages. Surely a great thing to have in a waiter. Every day the room was cleaned in a proper and efficient way. Cleanliness was no issue. Chapeau for that as well.

We loved our stay at Il-Logga! Our room was generous with a comfy bed & a large terrace overlooking the valley. Bathroom was small but shower had ample room. Breakfast was super generous & so was dinner. Room had a fridge, safe, a couch, deck chairs & complimentary water. Wifi was also complimentary. There are restaurants within a 10 minutes walk to Xaghra Square & a grocery store nearby. We would definitely stay again!

A very comfortable intimate hotel. The breakfast was lovely and we can’t say enough how delicious our dinner was at the restaurant. The town is small and quiet but it’s very easy for access to either side of the island for swimming etc.

This is a great boutique hotel, a short walk from the main square which has numerous bars and restaurants.
The bus service on Gozo is excellent and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel.
Ramla beach, possibly the nicest on the island is walkable, though there is also a bus service and the island has Bolt and Uber available.
The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and breakfast is well served with very generous portions.
