Tarona Guesthouse

Room was big and clean but perhaps the decor was a little tired, but perfectly adequate for the price. Plenty of shops and eateries within a short walk.

The single is terrible no natural light and the room was terrible small.

I loved the house. Very clean and in a quiet & safe location. Highly recommend for anyone especially solo travelers. Very close to the airport.

The pricing is cheap and you get what you pay for regarding comfort. WiFi works fine. The reception desk is only open 5 hours a day.

Generally the property was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Facilities were just adequate, the shower ran out of hot water after one person then you had to wait half an hour for the next person. Otherwise I was happy with my accommodation. The area Tarona house is in, is pleasant enough however you have to be careful as some dog owners are not diligent and think more of their pet than other human beings.

There is a little guest kitchen where you can cook breakfast or meals if you want to and our room had a fridge, kettle and mugs which was excellent. The water goes cold in the shower if you’re not quick though! A nice typical Maltese place to stay though. Near Buggiba and Qawra and right next to an excellent pizza place called Made In Sud and a fully stocked convenience store, 40 yards away.

Floor was dirty and no hot water in the shower.

Great location for beach and dining. Has elevator. Very clean. Used the common kitchen area one day, has everything you need. Would stay again. Only note has to do with the AC, sometimes it shuts off but then it comes back.

Partying and door slamming until 2 a.m.; partly the property’s fault as the doors do not close well and need to be forced. Everything else was bare bones, including the quality of the mattress. Had two nights booked but had to leave after one!

Great place. Good communication and staff.

Value for money

Never ever have anyone made me and my girlfriend feel bad about making a cup of coffee as the gentleman at this place. Very rude. Lovely comfortable beds.

La receptionist Ivana è stata semplicemente super efficiente nelle richieste . Consigliatissimo.

Kamer was wel schoon. Alleen de drinkglazen en de waterkoker waren vies. Er was ook niks aanwezig om dit schoon te kunnen maken. In de familiekamer zat de douche in de slaapkamer, dus niet in een badkamer. Parkeren in de omgeving is een ramp. Het is zo vol dat wij na lang zoeken de auto op 15 minuten lopen hebben moeten parkeren. Buitendeur van het pand is 24/7 open. Dit zou met een code open moeten, maar bleek altijd open te zijn.

Helt ok hotell för väldigt bra peng. Hyggligt centralt i Bugibba som jag förstod det. Det absolut mesta fanns inom gångavstånd förutom någon vettig pool. Ca 20 minuter bort till fots.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile per consigli, posizione comoda per vicinanza al lungomare dove si trovano ristoranti e bar, oltre a varie fermate del bus con i quali si può raggiungere qualsiasi punto dell'isola. La nostra camera spaziosa ed adatta a 4 persone (2 adulti e 2 bambini) , ma consiglio un po' più di manutenzione. Manca la luce nella zona wc, separata da zona doccia e lavabo. In quest'ultima non c'è punto d'appoggio se non una piccola mensola. Disponibili phon e mini frigo con piccolo spazio congelatore, molto apprezzati. Adattatori non necessari. Pulizia sufficiente, ma si potrebbe fare di meglio, cambio asciugamani giornaliero su richiesta. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è adeguato, non mi aspettavo nulla di lussuoso, lo consiglio per chi non ha grandi aspettative e per chi come noi passa in camera solo il tempo necessario per doccia e riposo notturno. Ho trovato i letti comodi e l'ambiente silenzioso, abbiamo riposato bene. Basterebbe solo qualche accortezza in più. Grazie per l'ospitalità!

Didn't like this place. Inexpensive, but still not worth it. Much fuzz with the manager, AC not working, generally worn down. Warm water for only one short shower before cold.
