The property was seasoned with seasoned outlets, but it was quaint. It was a good location to stay in the city of Fort De France. Convenient to shops, bakeries and other eating establishments. The Beach was less than a 5 minute walk.
There was no bed frame, which means the box springs were on the floor. Something one doesn't expect at a hotel.

We checked in the morning after we were originally suposed to be there and was refused of breakfast as we weremt there the night before. Absolute madness! There isnt any assistance with taxis, the elevator did not work on floor 2, the shower puddled and didnt drain, the bath was very tiny. The room smelt old and musty, as it hadnt been properly cleaned for years. I will not be staying here again.

This gives you early 19th century French/British vibes. The decor is dated. You literally have to use a traditional key to get in your room. They did not provide us with face clothes for bathing. I would stay again. Definitely not the your average 3 or 4 star that we are use to. It is safe environment
