This is a terrific place, if you don't mind a little street noise for about 18 hours a day. With gorgeous grounds and a nice location, it would be wonderful to always have the windows open facing the sea, but motorcycles, trucks and loud vehicles can often be heard. Making up for that is a beautiful and well-staffed rooftop restaurant and excellent staff always ready to grab beach towels or offer directions. Breakfast is very good, as well, and the breakfast servers are excellent.

Staffis amazing and the view and restaurant on the roof is fantastic- brisket tacos and the hummus toast is amazing, even if you normally don't like that kind of food!

Rooms of a good size with nice view to the ocean, though across the street. Very clean and plenty of space including mini kitchen like-area (microwave, coffee maker) with dishes.
Unfortunately, the street traffic was non-stop and the double glazed doors weren't quite sufficient to block the noise out and the neighbors (diving shop) started being noisy quite early.
Hotel did add a white moise machine to the bed and together with ear plugs all was quite manageable. But for sensitive folks, be aware of it.
Overall good location close enough to still walk to town but far enough from the hustle of the cruise ships.
Nice choice if you want to avoid the big resorts.

My 16-year-old son and I stayed in March while on a scuba diving trip. The front desk staff were terrific. The room was quiet. Air conditioning worked great. The rooftop restaurant was very convenient. We loved the convenience store downstairs, too. Very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel room is adorable. Be advised, that there is a huge gap between the bottom of the hotel room door and the floor, that bothered me. I had to stuff a towel under there every night. Luckily, no critters creeped into my room. There were a few hiccups, for example, the pillows had a weird smell, the toilet seat, and were broken, but the staff rectified the situation immediately. The service and staff were exceptional. I’d come back just for that alone. Also the rooftop bar had amazing food, surprisingly. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and will definitely stay here again. The local is super walkable and close to many shops and attractions. I felt safe, as a solo female traveller.

We really enjoyed our stay.. check the mini fridge on arrival.. we didn’t pay attention to it except a half eaten cookie and several things were missing that they were gonna charge me for. Luckily they believed me when I told him we didn’t eat or drink anything from it.

Great place. The staff is beyond friendly. A bit noisy since is right on the main hwy.

The rooms smelled bad, hot water heater did not work. They did not come clean one of our 2 rooms at all. Very very noisy, could not leave door open. Even at night or very early in the morning. Overall we did not enjoy our stay.

Not good: sewer smell in the bathroom throughout stay, not enough hot water for showers, dark room lighting, hotel ran out of extra blankets, pool had quite a bit of leaves/debris upon afternoon arrival
