Great hotel

This is over to the Holiday Inn suites They sent us over here

Everything was perfect

El personal es amable, el hotel es muy confortable y limpio, solo la alberca nesecita mantenimiento en el piso y paredes.

I thought I had seen there was a shuttle from airport to the hotel. There was not, so we had to walk. No big deal it was only 10 minutes. But, the hotel we booked was HI express, upon checking innn we were informed we were being moved to HI Suites. Which was annoying, however it was a 5 minute shuttle so not a big deal. It was nice, it was clean. My only real complaint was we only got provided two waters per room. We had 4 people in each room. To get two more waters per room we paid $20 at the bar because there were no vending machines and the gift store was closed. It was also raining so walking to a store wasn’t happening. With that in mind we more than made up the $20 with the complimentary breakfast which was fantastic. Made to order omelettes, french toast, lots to choose from

The desk clerk tried to push me into going to Holiday Inn Suites instead. This is after I brought in 7 suitcases alone as there is no doorman. I just wanted in my room to rest, not move again. I put my foot down but it was definitely a big process to be able to stay in the hotel I actually booked for convenience of having a grocery store across the street. In the rush to get out of my room with all my baggage I failed to do a room check and discovered later I left something important in the room. My email about that item was ignored. It is not valuable but impossible to replace without a trip to Europe. Not sure what to do about it since there is no response.

Personal del area de restaurante y cafetería muy muy amables, serviciales y cordiales. Excelente servicio. El desayuno buffet es delicioso. En general el hotel esta bastante bien, nos agrado mucho la estancia.

The room was wheelchair accessible and the entire hotel. It was more accessible than I expected. Very comfortable.

Excellent customer service, enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool area. Good value and close to the Marina restaurants. Uber's to the beach can add up, it's about $15CAD each way to the popular areas such as Malecon/Los Muertos/Zona Romantica. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes, the hotel can't take the blame on this. Some of the bites appeared to be bud bugs because they were close together in a line pattern. However, we and the hotel couldn't confirm because they found no evidence of the bugs in our bed. Their hotel chain doctor believes it's gnat or midge mosquitoes. They were supportive with medicated ointment and changed our room to the top floor, this time we had a better partial ocean view. Negatives, a child pooped in the swimming pool and all the hotel staff did was collect the poop, most places would close the pool while adding disinfectant or extra chlorine or perhaps drain the water. Other guests who came after had no clue, they went in the pool. Other cons, the hot tub was not much warmer than the pool and the jets didn't work for most of our stay. The hotel room showers are low flow and rarely hot, the hotel is eco-friendly to a high degree in this respect.
