KALI Escandon Mexico City

I was not happy that the reception did not give me change for the Uber upon arrival. I also was not happy that the sitting area was not available in the lobby. - HOWEVER, I loved the cleaning staff and how well the hotel floors were.

El desayuno no esta bueno

Excellent stay. Stay was very courteous. I had some trouble with WiFi in the evening. Only reason for 4 intstead of 5 starts

Reception was unfriendly, the lady who also was sick while checking in. wasn't a warm welcoming unfortunately

Clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very clean and in good condition but they have been the same for 20 years or more prices are now much higher with the same rooms and service

The room was great, convenient location for the reason of the trip, great service from the staff and breakfast was good, the only negative thing was the wifi, we stayed in the 4th floor and it didn't work for any of the days we were there.

My stay at Kali Escandón was pleasant. Staff is amazing, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Cleaning staff is very attentive and nice. Hotel is close to various dining options, I would recommend Funk Rock Cafe (good burgers). Kali restaurant has good food as well. Hotel is also close to a park if you’re looking for a walk/run. Only issue I had was with the internet which was spotty.

En general el hotel esta super! La ubicacion ayuda muchísimo ya que relativamente se llega rápido a la condesa, Roma, WTC, el desayunar muy completo y el personal muy amable.

Pleasant hotel- Breakfast buffet was included w/ my stay. Note: they don’t let you take any food back to your room. Per staff, buffet has to be eaten in the restaurant

Never been to Mexico City, quick getaway

Major problem was the instability of the internet, very frustrating

Great option to stay in Mexico City. The neighborhood is charming and safe. The hotel is very clean and rooms are spacious. I stayed there for a month, and the hotel was very responsive to my needs, they immediately solved any little issues. The best: the staff. Special mention to Maria in room cleaning. In the restaurant, Jesus, Omar, Montserrat and, very especially, Martín. Thank you all for making my stay so pleasant. The only shocking situation happened at the restaurant with waiter Daniel, who had the audacity to remind me that I should leave a tip, even if I had been giving it every day for weeks.

Loved the hotel. Great location and the restaurant and the buffet breakfast was wonderful . Room was well appointed nice sheets and pillows and comfortable bed .

Excellent service at beautiful hotel with great location to central amenities in Mexico City. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Quiet, clean, affordable in a popular and walkable area.

everything was very good, especially the kindness of personnel, I only suggest take care of heather of the room

I stayed in the Presidental Suite and really enjoyed the room. The only minor thing is the window to let in air needs to be repaired and the A/C does not work well.

i like the establishment. i made my reservation for a weeks time. unfortunately circumstances called for me to have a shorter trip than expected, when i tried to get a refund for leaving earlier i was originally told by the hotel lobby that id be penalized for a day which was fine after dealing with expedia they said when they called the hotel they absolutely refused. i left out of the city for 2 days and advised the hotel i’d be returning and didn’t want my room to be given away. when i returned they did in fact give my room to another guest(i was definitely frustrated) however they upgraded me to the suite with a balcony and private entrance for the night and returned me to my room the following day. the staff overall was friendly and helpful. i needed medicine and they sent down one of the guys to run to the store and buy some for me. over all 4/5
