This is a 1st class hotel, one of the best where we've ever stayed! The garden areas are beautiful, providing enjoyable, peaceful spaces. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with excellent advise on what to see and do in Guanajuato. The restaurant is excellent with a good variety of choices of tasty, well prepared cuisine.

We had a great time in Quinta las Acacias. It is in a beautiful location overlooking a leafy park and surrounded by hills. An interesting 20 minute walk into the centre, past very nice buildings. We did a day trip to SAN Miguel de Allende, which is only 1 1/2 hours away and it is close to the airport. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious with a lovely patio to sit out on. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.. we would definitely go back..a great find,

Charming little hotel. Loved the decor. Felt trapped in the 1800s. There was some confusion about my Expedia perks I had paid extra for including free breakfast and a free welcome drink. Eventually was credited for my free breakfast but never received my free drink.

Our room was 79 steps from the street. And, the steps were up a hill. The room was large, but tired-looking. There was no heat and the room, especially the tile floors, were cold. The hotel might be considered "wonderful" in North Korea, but by Mexican standards it certainly was not. We would never stay there again.

Good, clean hotel & room. The service was very good & quick and efficient too. Attention to detail was excellent. The views from my room were very good too. The only thing I would say from a negative point was that the breakfast included with my room deal was very minimal. Breakfast consisted of a dish of fruit, some bread or cakes & jam & coffee & I think a glass of orange. (While this may be continental breakfast - I'm not sure) ;- and as I would class the hotel as quite classy, maybe "lose the bathrobes, shower cap, body conditioner, etc" & add maybe eggs & bacon to the breakfast (included). Area was v. good with a lovely park nearby, road outside was busy during the day, though quietened down at night. A good choice for area and out of the way - & if you 're ok as it takes about 30mins walk to the town centre.

Loved the building and the art. The service was first class all the way and the food was good. The location was a little out of the way but a lovely 20 min. walk into el centro first thing in the morning. Oh, and I must not forget the jetted tub with lots of bubbles and plenty of hot water.

Staff is super helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the park in front of the hotel is perfect for walks or runs. The rooms are enormous and there is lots of space for storing clothing and suitcases etc. The hotel is a little distance away from the city center, that is the only downside.

Upon check in we were given a different room. It was quite a story to get our originally booked room. The stories told kept changing. In the end a very pleasant stay, very nice, clean rooms. And yes, staff was helpful in the end and very friendly. Breakfast too was excellent. Hotel is a our 3km from the city center but it’s a nice walk or else reachable by bus or taxi.

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of town. Very nice setting, restaurant with included breakfast. Yaiza (hope I got the spelling of her name correct!) was our hostess and she was wonderful! Very helpful getting us a ride to San Miguel De Allende on the last day of our stay and our waitress at breakfast each morning. If you don't like walking, though, look elsewhere or be prepared to pay for a taxi or Uber faire every time you want to visit Historico Central. A very nice park across the street of the hotel to take walks or get a run in.

we arrived and were in the process of being shown to our room. I asked if there were many stairs and were told not many. We climbed four flights of stairs to our top floor room that had as its centerpiece rods running from wall to wall to stablize the structure. If you were six feet tall, they were a safety hazard. The road noise was awful. If we knew about that, we would have stayed in town. To get to town is a 30 minute walk. We asked about the complimentary transportation to the airport that said there was a surcharge and were quoted 900 pesos. We were able to get a car for 500 and could probably get taxi for 400. The breakfast was very nice.

The hotel is high in the hills, but still within a very pleasant, downhill walk to the historic centre of Guanajuato - a beautiful, colonial town in the mountains of Mexico. The hotel, itself is striking, with suites distributed over a lovely garden property, furnished with antiquities. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and accommodating - their very efficient and charming concierge is bilingual and can find options to suit regardless of your preferences. A chef's breakfast is included and shouldn't be missed. The hotel is across from a large, treed park.

Excellent hotel. Very elegant and super nice for the price. It has a small parking in the front but very convenient since you can actually see your car from your room. The room is very elegant and the hotel overall is very well decorated. It has breakfast included which is also very good. The dining room is also very elegant and excellent decoration. I would totally stay there again.
