Hotel Aurora

The staff will all get full marks for their friendliness, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, but small. I started my trip at the Aurora and was delighted to return and end it there - and enjoyed their evening free cocktail in the top floor restaurant.

The service was really great, they helped us with everything. Room was nice, bit small. Showerhead was really good. Rooftopbar is nice. Breakfast is ok.

The first time we used our shower, the shower spray unit exploded and was unusable for the rest of our stay. There was an overhead shower head, but that was also broken. The water trickled at most, making showering difficult. The bed was extremely hard. It was not a very clean hotel room or bathroom. The one thing I will say though is that the staff are super attentive and want to be helpful. The breakfast is also fine, and they offered a free cocktail during happy hour. I would not stay here again though - even with those perks.

Well located hotel close to the river but a bit far for the main Pagoda. This being said, the staff is incredible, super friendly and always willing to help. They went beyond my expectations. Many thanks.

Mandalay an amazing place trying very hard to accomodate many different people (nationalities and ages) would defo recommend this hotel but basic room although clean was a little small for two western adults but still was perfectly adequate. Air con: good, bathroom: great shower stunning. Breakfast served on rooftop terrace great views of mandalay. Breakfast tip if you want eggs you have to ask for the egg menu or they offer it to you after you have finished your breakfast! Overall great hotel to stay in we felt very safe.

Hotel's conveniently located pretty close to the center of town and they have bicycles you can take for free to pedal around. Rooftop restaurant was a nice perk and the free breakfast was pretty decent. Staff were great and overall this definitely seemed like a good value for the money.

We really enjoyed both of our stays at this hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing. They all seemed genuinely invested in making sure we and the other guests enjoyed our stays and they succeeded. Of special note was Coco at the front desk who provided loads of valuable local information, helped us arrange some great tours (without pushing us into any) and took care of any problem we had. Other items of note: -Good WiFi (which is rare in Mandalay) we were even able to stream some movies -New generator so the frequent Mandalay power outages did not effect life in the hotel -Good selection for breakfast -Good location for walking and exploring Mandalay -Good water pressure and hot water in the shower -Good air-conditioning -Nice new elevator -Awesome staff The only negatives were: -Hard uncomfortable mattresses, not orthopedic,more like cardboard on top of plywood (which will likely be fixed soon as management said they were addressing it) -The phone in the hallway is REALLY loud when ringing and it rings a LOT...especially early in the morning (it started just after 6am one morning). The phone is LOUD. Ringer needs to be turned down or housekeeping may want to use radios instead. It takes quite a bit of noise to bother us but the phones rang a lot every morning we were there. Overall the Aurora far exceeded our expectations and we’ll look forward to staying there again soon.

I really wanted to love this place, but I woke up every morning and my body ached. The bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on the floor. Maybe some prefer that, but probably the hardest bed I’ve slept on in all my travels. Shame because I loved the area, the service, and hospitality.

Location is at the central of Mandalay, easy to move around. Hotel front desk helped transportation and trip plan. The cost is great and better than outside bargain price. Breakfast is also great. Satisfied and was excellent choice!

L'accueil chaleureux est le point fort de cet hôtel avec aussi un super petit déjeuner, les employés sont aux petits soins avec leurs clients. Ils s'occupent de rendre le séjour à mandalay dans d'excellentes conditions. Literie confortable.

Отель расположен недалеко от корелвского дворца, хотя туда идти очень далеко, так как вход для иностранцев находится с противоположной стороны. Рядом с отелем расположен огромный рынок с овощами и фруктами. Это плюс. И одновременно минус, потому что рядом нет приличных ресторанов. До мест с нормальной едой нужно идти в сторону дворца, а затем уходить вправо на нескодько кварталов. До холма толко на такси или тук-туке Набережная с пристанями для кораблей находится близко. 5 мин на тук-туке Это для тех, кто плывет в Баган или в Мингун. До Сагайна тоже недалеко. Персонал очень приветливый, особенно девушка Динь-Динь. Завтраки хорошие

ゼーヂョーマーケットすぐそばの最高の立地。フロントスタッフは英語を流暢に話しとてもフレンドリーで親切。 室内は狭いが清潔、必要なものは最低限揃っておりシャワーは水圧湯温とも快適。 朝食は種類豊富で温かいおかずがランチとしてでも満足できそうなほどたくさんあり毎日お腹いっぱいにして観光に出かけた。

Notre chambre double deluxe était propre et bien agencée. salle de bain spacieuse, petit coin salon, ménage fait tous les jours avec des serviettes moelleuses changées tlj, eau, café, thé offerts chaque jour. Le petit déjeuner pris sur la terrasse était copieux et savoureux. Nous avions soupé tous les soirs au restaurant de cet hôtel pour un prix très correcte dont les mets étaient excellents. Personnel gentil et serviable et surtout toujours souriant.
