I live in the US and hadn't been back home to Yangon in 10 years. Two months ago, when I returned, I booked every new hotel in Yangon except this one because I assumed the older hotels might lack activities and amenities. However, I regretted that decision the moment I arrived in july second time. The Sedona Hotel Yangon made me feel instantly at home. Even at midnight, walking around the hotel felt as comfortable as strolling through my own house—it's that safe and welcoming. The lobby café offered exceptional customer service, and the staff were incredibly friendly and well-trained. Almost every member of the staff exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and warmth. Overall, my experience at the Sedona Hotel Yangon was nothing short of exceptional.

Staying here during the COVID crisis and the staff and management are doing their best to make the situation safe and comfortable. The food is quite good, facilities are kept very clean, and hotel staff are always helpful. It's not the ideal time to be in any hotel, but we made the right choice by choosing Sedona. Great location. The hotel grounds are green and beautiful, and Inya Lake is across the street.

One day after I have arrived. I was moved to another room due to « scheduled maintenance, » it wasn’t very convenient since I have already settled in my first room.

The room was clean, but the toilet was dirty. I can hear my next-door neighbor arguing. The sink faucet flask a lot, and you can get wet very easy.

A very nice hotel at a reasonable price. Very nice rooms, very good breakfast.

The buffet was good and extensive. They had both western, chinese and indian food

CONS: Room was old and dated. Bathroom curtain smelled old, and hair dryer was weak. AC in the room was barely working, even after they "fixed" it on my first day (I complained). PROS: Convenient location, right across Myanmar Plaza. Gym was insane--spacious, clean, and very premium. Breakfast buffet looked good but didn't try as I found it expensive for breakfast.

My room in old building, there are 3 light and LED bulbs are out of order. after call and wait over an hour for technician to fix. Breakfast restaurant, bad experience, no service, you need to search your seat, and always wait for the coffee mug and long queue after the coffee machine.

Good service and hospitality at Sedona Hotel. Hotel manager was very friendly and patiently attended to us. Complimentary beverages was one of the few bonuses for our stay there. Overall was a great experience for our travel stay. Will definitely stay at the hotel again.

The lake view is very tranquil and peaceful. Walking in the garden surrounded the pool in the morning is a great treat.
