A beautiful view from our upgraded super deluxe room, very spacious with balcony. Bathroom and room very clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, so welcoming and friendly. We had a lift to and from the bus station. We had an amazing full day jeep safari organised by the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and made to order. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope we visit again someday. Thank you!!

This is a lovely hotel and jungle resort. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the grounds are a well kept garden. I had a warm breakfast and lots of assistance with my travel plans. I felt very happy staying here and enjoyed all this place has to offer. Perfect location in town as well and along the river. There was a rhino taking a mud bath just a short wak away

Good room, air con was a bit temperamental though. Food was okay. Staff were attentive and helpful, however they quoted us well above the price other tours offered for activities, so we went with another provider down the road.

We totally enjoyed out stay at the River View. We were picked up from the airport and delivered back. The location was great - right in the middle of the village. The room was clean and spacious. They organised our safari tours for us with their own awesome and very knowledgeable guide! The staff were friendly and attentive.

We spent 3 nights at River View Jungle Camp in Nov. 2022. This was our last stop of a 35 day trip to Nepal including 21 days of trekking and a stay in Pokhara. Overall the accommodations were some of the nicest we had during our time in Nepal. The room was large and clean. The fully functioning bathroom (with reliable hot water) was clean and the air conditioner worked. When we arrived, we were met at the gate by the proprietor and shown immediately to our room. He then organized our activities for the weekend and introduced us to our outstanding guide, Mungala. We had an action packed weekend doing all the tours with our guide and hotel mates. Our meals were all included in the price and the food was outstanding. The actual location of River View Jungle Camp was very convenient. It is a short walk via the river trail or city streets to the city center. Many shops and ATMs were nearby. We had a second floor room with a balcony that overlooked the beautiful gardens, river and jungle. Overall this worked out very well for us and we enjoyed the stay.

Lovely first appearance to room..... balcony overlooking river..... staff very accommodating. Was good to b able to open windows as they had screens (mosquitoes) but no screens on doors. Only fault - ceiling fan was not working... could have used this instead of aircon.. Bath mat would have been useful. Otherwise very good.

I loved my stay at River View! The staff are extremely helpful and gracious, the room was clean, and the safaris were amazing. The lodge is a set close to the river, so you are very close to the main area of the town, but it's fairly quiet and peaceful. The manager was very helpful in planning my onward bus trip and the safaris in the National Park as well. Overall, the experience was very laid-back and welcoming, while I still got to experience to excitement of seeing rhinos and elephants in the wild.

The hotel is very centrally in Saurahar located with rooms facing the river and others the garden. The rooms are up-to-date and clean. The provide enough to feel comfortable. The restaurant serves good meals at a reasonable price. The garden suffered because of the flood last September but the hotel staff is working hard to restore it. We were told also some of the facilities were under water but nobody would notice anymore. The best is the very individual support the hotel manager gives to the hotel guests. He is very helpful with all arrangements like tours at the national park of flight arrangements back to Kathmandu etc. Everything can be tailored to your wishes. We book individual tours avoiding the big crowds. The hotel assigned an individual guide to us who accompanied us on the three excursions we booked - riding on a government elephant to see rhinos, boat trip, jungle walk and jeep tour.

We enjoyed the property and sitting on our own balcony watching the elephants pass by. We didn't see the rhino that wanders around the town though. We didn't price the tours in town but we felt the tours we took (canoe (with others) and then walk back through the jungle(2 of us and 2 guides) and jeep safari (with group) were not too expensive. Saw 3 rhinos on the jeep safari and lots of signs of sloth bear and rhino on our hike. We have been in a lot of jungles but this was the first one that I was nervous that we might see bear, rhino or rogue elephant as we walked back to the river. They were out there. The tiger is nocturnal so it wouldn't have been wandering through the bush.
