It was my fault I ended up booking the wrong night 1 month in advance and they still would not refund me anything or offer a discount even though I booked another night!

I booked for 4 days and left after the 1st night. The room looked like a dingy roadside motel. Staff was rude and cold to "us", however i watched how they dealt with other races and it was like night and day. I would never ever consider going back even it was for free.

Too noisy in the back property until 1am on Friday.

If you enjoy loud music and motorcycles revving their engines in competition with each other (rev-off) from Thursday - Sunday night (9pm-midnight) from the parking lot across the street, this hotel is perfect for you; terrible for me, and all those I spoke to, for those 4 nights out of 7. Sadly, I was told this is the norm and there is nothing that can be done about it. I wish I knew. I asked to change rooms away from the street but my request was refused? although the hotel did not seem to be full at all. Bad customer service. Unfortunately, although the hotel is across the street from a fantastic beach, good food, and close to port/city centre (15 min. walk) and airport, the evening noise across the street in the parking lot ruined what was otherwise a fantastic and beautiful island trip. Highly recommend Aruba!! Suggestion: call the hotel and ask about the noise from Thursday to Sunday evenings to see if this has changed before you commit! If it wasn’t for the noise, I would not be writing this review.

Great place to stay

Very nice and helpful front desk, restaurant, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Loud music and motorcycles revving engines from parking lot across street was a problem on weekend evenings ...

The staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The hotel is walkable to several restaurants and downtown Aruba.

A nice place. Easy to mingle with other guests.

quite a decent hotel for that kind of money. good breakfasts, polite staff. Although 7 minutes from the airport, it was not noisy. 6 minutes walk to the beach. but we were not at the hotel from morning until evening, we rented a car and drove around all the beaches and attractions of this island.

Property is located across from a beautiful beach. Hotel is located near airport which we enjoyed the planes flying over. We are at restaurant located in TOTT and enjoyed it. Convenience store lots of options for drinks and snacks. Restaurants across the street were really great. We would definitely come back and stay here.

Great location! Yes, it's right on main thoroughfare and there is street noise. Pay to upgrade to superior room, problem solved. Still cheaper and closer to beach than some resorts. Rooms were very clean (housekeeping every day.) Beds are comfortable. Showers great! Breakfast 7:30-10am. Front desk abysmal. Convenience store hit or miss with their hours. Overall great stay!

Nice

Such a quaint Hotel, away from the high rises. The staff was very accomodating, helpful to answer all of our questions, and took time to make us feel like we were the only guests there for our week long stay.The staff would offer their honest opinion to us about activities and choices for dining. Eugene, Elizabeth, at the front desk, helped us out a great deal, explained things to our many questions. The room was comfortable, AC worked non stop, and we felt like we were home. We would definately rebook a stay here at Talk of the Town when we return to Aruba.

Talk of the town is affordable, clean well kept and in a great part of town. I definitely go back there.

Great place , staff very friendly but the room needs improvements mirror needs to be change no paper cup in the room a/c works perfectly but need to improve because no remote you actually have to get up & turn it on & off

We moved up our flight and needed a place to stay for one night. Would plan to stay HERE next time!
