The breakfast each day was amazing! Such a selection to chose from that even the pickiest eaters would be able to find something to enjoy. Just a "heads-up"....the rooms do not have air conditioning. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

I was happy with the room, which included a large, comfortable bed and a convenient desk. But I didn't like that there were no insect screens in the windows, forcing one to choose between having the lights on at night and sleeping in a hot room. The coffee cups were so poorly designed that the average person's finger wouldn't fit through the handle and that you burn your finger holding the cup. A fridge would have been nice too, but you get what you pay for.

It is a great location very close to Leiden Central Station. The common areas are a good place to relax and overall the hotel is higher end business hotel. We stayed for leisure and it was also good for our stay. The restaurant and bar area was expansive and fancy looking but we did not have time to enjoy those amenities. There was no air conditioning control in the room. I think the vent in the room was part of hotel main system but we just opened the window for ventilation.

On site parking was secure but very expensive. Hotel website says it has a/c in every room but they don’t. The staff did provide us with some fans when we asked about the a/c but it was still very hot in our room (we visited in late June). The location was walkable to the city center and very close to the train station. Beds were comfortable except that the heat made it hard to sleep.

Very comfortable bedroom apart from the heat: any building without air conditioning needs a means of getting hot air out and cool air in. Only one bedroom window opened and that only a crack, so no effective heat exchange, and the corridors were similarly extremely hot even when the temperature outside was moderate or cool. Poor building design.

We were first assigned to a room that had no air conditioning. When we called the front desk to complain, the clerk was not at all helpful. Fortunately, my husband, who speaks Dutch, spoke to them and managed to persuade them to move us to a smaller room that at least was comfortable, if shabby. The restaurant is good. The breakfast buffet typical. We wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel was in a very central location, there were facilities to leave luggage and store bikes . The bar and lounge were nice, serving cocktails and drinks, and all the staff were very helpful.
We went on a very hot weekend and the only disappointment was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. Otherwise I would have given 5 star

we found the room to be basic, and the walls very thin. Our headboard bounced when people were coming and going from the room on the adjoining wall. The sink didn’t drain and smelled, The staff were notified and offered nothing to rectify the situation. I mentioned the issue(s) a couple of times but wasn’t offered compensation or remedy. The restaurant was very good for breakfast, snacks, drinks, and dinner. But that’s all the good I have to say about this place.

we had a wonderful stay at Tulip Inn. The staff was courteous, always smiling, very helpful. Our room had a king bed and shower. We were comfortable in the room. Good water pressure for the shower. Negative is the coffee maker needed to be replaced. Close to the trains, town and good restaurants.

Had a great time here. the staff were very helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. dinner was superb. All in all a great stay in a lovely little city. Just a short walk to the Road/Rail Station. Ideal for Amsterdam and Keukenhoff Gardens. Most people spoke English and were very friendly. Will definitely return.
