Blue Wave Motel Mount Maunganui

Room had no air conditioning. It was hot and humid, so was very uncomfortable. Only had 2 fans that were not oscillating.

Just a short walk to the beach which is great. Villas were well appointed with all you need for a stay.

Plenty of parking. Conveniently close to the beach.

Loved our stay. 2 mins walk to the beach, use of boogie boards, surfboards and free washing facilities was great. Nice friendly staff and happy to accommodate your needs. Easy driving distance to shops at the Mount. Would definitely stay again.

Every pleasant place to stay easy to find and not to far away from the nightlife. Staff very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Would stay again if in the area but hopefully longer next time. Two nights was not long enough. A++++++

Unit was spacious, with a couple or spare single beds in living area. Well equipped for self catering and small outside deck and grass area to sit. Found location good.

Great location, staff are lovely. The only problem we had was the heat in the room. The room did have two fans however all that did was move the hot air around. Would suggest proper air conditioning. But other wise the room was fantastic. Lots of room for 5 of us.

Thank you for the great stay. Room quite roomy and great with the full fridge with freezer and full size oven. Single beds were very comfy, but found the Queen bed so soft and uncomfortable. But overall really enjoyed our stay and it was only a 3min walk to the beach via the beach access walkway. Reasonably quite too and a small back patio on Villa #7, with a outside rinse off shower for after the beach. Will definitely come back here again.

Quite and off the main road. But close to the beach. Would recommend.

Comfortable and spacious unit in quiet location close to the beach

The manager was pleasant and helpful enough. Appreciated information about where to find places. However, no cleaning was done and no linen changed during our two day stay at the motel. Also, the bed making was poor and cleanliness in the bathroom especially was below average.

The property host was very helpful and friendly, the unit was very clean and in a great location - 2 minutes to the beach.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and roads. Just a short walk to the beach with a cool little outdoor shower to rinse off those sandy feet.

Was a nice kept property easy to find, down the road from the event we weee in Tauranga for happily use again
