From the moment we arrived we were met with a fantastic friendly welcome. Our host explained everything very clearly and gave excellent recommendations for where to go and where to eat. She was lovely. This was the highlight of our trip- what a gorgeous apartment with the most stunning views we’ve ever had from an apartment. We honestly could not recommend this place more highly! Thank you for letting us enjoy such a fantastic house with such memorable views 👌👌👌

Very wonderful experience. The view of the lake was amazing. Watched the sunrise from the balcony and watched the stars at night.

Very nice and cozy yet spacious apartment ..unfortunately we were unable to see the lake due to the snow but the fireplace made up for it. We were met upon arrival to help with parking.

I almost feel bad giving this property only five stars as my family and I strongly feel that this property deserves at least seven stars. Never had such a smooth check-in process. The location of the property is unbelievable. It is located very close to Lake Tekapo. When we woke up in the morning, we couldn't believe the view in front of us. The place had been maintained very well. The facilities were amazing. There was a minor confusion about a fee being charged but the owners understood the miscommunication involved and handled it in a very classy way. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the proximity of Lake Tekapo and enjoy the beauty of the location.

We had the barn room at the end of building. Our host was very friendly and informative. It had everything we needed. Sitting on patio it had views of the lake. It was a ten minute walk to main part of town.

We stayed at the Shearers Quarters and it was a lovely stay. There was a dedicated parking space, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub and comfortable king size bed. Easy walking access into town and helpful hosts. Our stargazing tour was canceled due to cloudy weather but the office for that was right down the street.

It’s a pity that we only stayed one night. We didn’t use all the facilities available to us. Good quiet location and on a clear night, we might have been able to see the milky way from the back of the property. Only downside was that there was no laundry facilities available for the apartment. That’s not really a major point as we normally hand wash with a Scrubba bag anyway.

Excellent place to stay, easy walk into town. Exactly what we needed and was a great welcome when we arrived. The bath and kitchen etc are all modern and was private too. The only negative I would say is some of the decor which made me feel like I was staying at my Nanas… e.g. the doilies :) I must get me some of the wood ring cushions!! Otherwise exceptional and will definitely be staying again. Thanks team!

What a lovely little find! The property exceeded our expectations with a lovely big bath and also an awesome fireplace which connected the living room and the bedroom so was great in the cold nights.
The property was close to the shops and the thermal baths and the kitchen was great. Ivan was very friendly on greeting us and we had a lovely stay.
